Malgré le bon accueil de certains du personnel, le service est vraiment médiocre; propreté de la chambre pas top, ménage pas fait régulièrement ou sommairement (lit fait mais salle de bain pas nettoyée depuis 1 semaine);
Cheveux sur les draps lors de mon arrivée le 1er jour….. bref la propreté laisse à désirer

Une véritable déception pour ce séjour au Fairfield Inn & Duites by Marriott de Guelph. L'endroit est absolument détestable à proximité de l'autoroute. Une forte odeur de chlore (venant de la piscine) vous arrache la gorge dès que vous entrez et est toujours aussi perceptible depuis la salle du petit-déjeuner. Les chambres sont acceptables mais lia mienne - 223 - donne sur les poubelles ! Petit-déjeuner très très moyen. Rapport qualité prix inacceptable.

Located in one of Guelph's Industrial areas, there is NOTHING within walking distance to eat if you check in late and or have not eaten prior to your hotel stay and or if you have a late checkout (4pm). This would be a FANTASTIC opportunity for this otherwise very nice hotel to meet its client's needs, which has yet to be taken advantage of beyond what is on offer in their "market". If you are a carnivore ( Opposite of Vegan ) and or have an aversion to highly proceeded "food", you will find NOTHING in their "market" to eat. Had to order food via UberEats. As a strict Carnivore in the late evening, there are VERY few options on UberEats if Walmart and or similar are closed.
The complimentary breakfast on the other hand, had a very nice selection and amount of food and drinks for any dietary needs/wants.
Bed was comfortable, well made and clean. Everything in the hotel seems new / well maintained. Gym is equipped with many high end and well maintained exercise machines and other equipment. Did not go into the pool area but it looked very nice. Friendly and professional staff.

Some glitches in our stay but overall a good hotel.
The positives: the rooms were nice, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent with lots of options for everyone. The kids had fun at the pool/waterslide.
The cons: The waterslide is only available when a life guard is on duty (a few hours in the morning, and a few hours in the evening) so there are times it is not available to use. The pool is much smaller than it appears in the pictures and feels heavily chlorinated. Also our 19 and 16 year olds, who work out regularly, were told they were not permitted to use the gym without us sitting beside them. We have 6 children, so sitting with the 2 oldest ones at the gym so they could get their regular work out in was not the best use of our time.
Overall a good stay.

Very nice, clean hotel. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, very conveniently located off the highway, close and easy access to everything we wanted to do on our visit. Disappointed that we didn’t have time to try the water slide but that gives us something to look forward to for next time!

Great hotel to stay at! Clean rooms, nice pool and water slide, lots of parking. The front desk employees were very friendly and accommodating! Morning breakfast included and was very good. One downfall is no lunch/dinner food available on site and nothing within walking distance. Lots of food options a 5 min drive away. Overall, very happy with our stay here and would recommend!

The pool was super fun but a little small. The staff (David) were very accommodating and attentive. I enjoyed my stay here and I believe others will too.
