We stayed 2 days at this hotel and we are very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, the service of the staff, the location. A gesture that further increases our satisfaction is seeing the manager get involved in cleaning the areas during breakfast. She helped the employee to empty the bins, clean the spaces ... thank you because this is a gesture of collaboration and appreciated as much for the staff as for "us" the clients.

Nous sommes restés 2 jours à l'hotel et nous sommes très satisfaits en ce qui concerne la propreté de la chambre, le service du personnel, l'emplacement. un geste qui fait monter davantage notre satisfaction c'est de voir la gérante s'impliquer pour nettoyer les aires lors du déjeuner. Elle a aidé l'employée à vider les poubelles, nettoyer les espaces ... merci car ceci est un geste de collaboration et apprécié autant pour le personnel comme pour "nous" les clients.

We went with family of 4 and had a great experience at this hotel. Service was super nice and polite. At the reception Jasmine was very helpful and informative. Our room was species and clean and had we needed (coffee machine, small fridge, plenty of closet room, nice bathroom). Breakfast was exceptional with hot dishes and fresh fruit. Pool was very nice with warm water and all facilities were clean. Highly recommend staying there!

I have to say, one of the best hotels I stayed in, in a while. Clean, breakfast was fantastic and staff were super friendly! Breakfast had to be my highlight, as they had cage free eggs, omelets, dairy alternatives, and a bunch of topics for my waffles! Paul was amazing, he works at the front desk, along with the staff that worked in the dining area. Will come again! Keep it going!

In the midst of the multi-day ice storm in Orillia, after three days of zero power or warmth of any kind, we were lucky enough to book a room at the Fairfield Orillia. Everything and everyone was terrific from the pleasantness and helpfulness of the front desk staff (thanks, Laura and Dani!), to the cleanliness of the room (I get icked out easily and couldn’t find a single, random hair), to the excellent, complimentary breakfast (thanks, Crystal!). Honestly, best breakfast EVER! So many options - fruit, cereal (cow’s milk and oat milk), ham and sausages, scrambled eggs and cheese omelettes (plus salsa, extra cheese), coffee/tea/juice, bagels, etc.- so if you’re gluten-free or vegan, they’ve got you covered. The beds were comfy, everything in the room worked, toiletries were available, linen and bedding were fresh. The hotel is fairly new and it is clean. No weird odours, stains anywhere. It is reasonably priced. There is 24 hour staff at the front desk and a little snack/toiletry shop. There is a nice pool. There’s a cafeteria type area and a lounge area. Plus, it’s near some solid restaurants and shopping. Thanks for the great night, especially when we really needed it. Would 100% book again…actually, we already did (the power’s not back on yet!). P.S. I was not paid for this review, I’m just super impressed.

I loved the rooms, the breakfast, and most of all the staff. Paul at the front desk was amazing. Super friendly! I also loved the workers for breakfast. They were so lovely and were always quick! I forgot one of their names but one was Crystal and the other started with an M or N. will be returning!

We've stayed at this location a couple of times now. We will purchase event tickets at Casino Rama and go out of our way to stay here instead of the casino because it is much more modern, clean and usually better rates. Location is great for convenience; We like the quick walk to State and Main.

Honestly, there isn't much room for improvement in a place like this except to say the mattress is a bit firm for our liking but wonderful pillows, and the Ac/heat unit can be a bit noisy. We don't usually have a lot of opportunity to interact with staff beyond check in, but from our limited engagement they've been friendly and efficient. We've also never had a chance to check out the free breakfast; maybe next time (if the hours were ever extended til 11 ;)) Otherwise, we're pleased with the accommodations.

We were going to reserve a room for April 4 and 5th since we live in Orillia and had no power due to ice storm. We asked for best rate since we could not stay at our house and the best offer we got was $20.00 off regular room rate. Person was very helpful and polite but really thought the hotel would offer more to residents of Orillia. Thankfully our power was restored so we did not have to use the hotel but would think twice before recommending it for any visitors.||Cathy Hamel
