Hôtel paisible, propre, tranquille, parfait! La suite vaut la peine: salon, cuisine complète et équipée, coin dinette, 2 salles de bain et une grande chambre des maîtres. Située à +/- 30 min du centre-ville de Victoria (Harbour) mais l'emplacement enchanteur et tellement paisible vaut le déplacement.

During my 30-day stay, I visited this hotel three times, spending a total of six nights there while working with my team members. I like the hotel because it is clean and located in a peaceful area. However, we encountered several issues:

1. The manager, a gentleman who usually stands at the front desk in the morning, did not provide a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name. The hotel promotes free coffee and muffins in the morning, which seems odd. The coffee machine is available all day and does not require daily refilling, yet the manager ordered the removal of the cups from the desk beside it, perhaps around noon (I never returned before 4 PM). As a result, guests cannot enjoy coffee, especially since there is no coffee shop or restaurant within the hotel. On one occasion, three of us were meeting friends, and we took an extra cup for one of them. The manager became upset and insisted that only one cup of coffee was allowed per person. Come on! It's unfair to be so stingy when we were paying over $300 per night to stay there and received no additional services, aside from two packets of coffee in the room. If they are that unwilling to provide guests with free amenities, they should reconsider their business model.

2. Although you can book a room online, the price remains the same for 2, 3, or 4 people in one room, since the rooms have two queen beds. They do not offer any additional services for extra guests, such as extra cups, towels, or coffee. We originally booked the room for two, but one of our teammates decided to stay with us. We were charged an additional $50 for this extra guest. When I inquired during my next visit why this was the case, the same gentleman explained that the first time we booked through the hotel website, but the second time was through Stash (the hotel points system). I did not book my rooms through a third party!

For anyone reading this, I advise against booking your room directly through their website. Despite frequently offering a 25% discount, it’s better to use third-party websites or Stash for your reservations.

During our last visit, we had to ask for muffins that were supposed to be provided every morning. They removed the muffin basket at 9:30 AM—unbelievably cheap management!

This hotel is the closest option to our work location. Otherwise, I would not return.

I always use Google Reviews for my stays and the services I require, and my reviews have been seen over 10 million times. I rarely leave a negative review unless I believe that others should be aware of the situation or the manager or owner needs to hear it. I allowed the hotel to rectify these concerns, but they did not listen.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this hotel last week and I could not possibly fault it for ANYTHING! From the moment we stepped in and were greeted by the friendliest desk clerk, to the amazingly large and gorgeous suite that allowed us to have the best sleeps ever, it was fantastic. We even met some of the other staff while there, and they were all so friendly, kind and accommodating, making us feel like they really valued and appreciated us staying there. And everything, from lobby to elevator to hallways to rooms - was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN! The rooms are larger than anything we expected, and we were able to catch our Canucks in action on the large screen TV above the fireplace (chilly night so we turned it on!), relaxing comfortably on the sofa, feet up, just like home. From linens to shampoo, everything was #1. And the area is even lit beautifully at night! We will definitely be back and I've talked about this place to everyone who asked about our Victoria visit! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Almost enough to make me take up golf ... Please thank the staff for us - they truly make that place rock!

The location of this hotel is very convenient for golfing. However, the air conditioner is extremely loud at night, and all the pillows are too high, making it hard to sleep. There were also unexpected charges at checkout. When we opened the balcony door on the ground floor, bugs came swarming in. Overall, the stay was quite uncomfortable despite the good location.

What an incredibly quiet, absolutely beautiful property. I wish we were able to stay more than just the one night. I would have loved to explore! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will be booking here on my next trip out to BC

The rates were great, the hospitality was outstanding, and the feedback from everyone who stayed was glowing. As an event organizer, having a hotel partner you can trust makes all the difference—and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend Fairways Hotel for both group bookings and personal stays. We'll definitely be back!

We booked directly with the hotel, not a third party. We had to make repeat phone calls to the front desk that the air conditioning in the room was not working. The evening shift desk agent brought us a fan and apologized. There was no offer for alternate rooms, refund or discount. Do not recommend.

Somehow this hotel came up on a Google search as being close to Butchart Gardens...it is NOT!
The beds were amazing and the food at Jacks and the cafe just across the street from the hotel was excellent.
Unfortunately there are no guest ammentities like a pool or hot tub, which is a shame given the location.
MY only complaint is the shower was not super clean, there were a number of dark mould like spots and even when I pointed it out and they supposedly cleaned the next morning, the spots were still there.
