Leaving a 5-star review is long overdue. I want to express my sincerest heartfelt gratitude to Dr. McIntyre and the entire staff at Fall River Animal Hospital. After having visited 7 other vet clinics over the years in HRM, I found my way to you through the recommendation of a rabbit rescue, and it was an absolute game changer.

Dr. McIntyre has cared for my beloved rabbits and guinea pigs with the utmost kindness since 2020. She has consistently demonstrated remarkable expertise and understanding, always taking the time to explain treatments and answer my questions.

Her ability to provide X-rays/diagnostics during the same appointment and her keen observations have helped me understand my pets’ needs in ways I never experienced before. She has introduced me to various medications and techniques, such as nebulizing, and has even consulted with specialists to ensure the best care for my guinea pig.

Most recently, they helped me through an incredibly difficult time with a guinea pig very dear to me, Winnie, who had been battling health issues for two years. With your support I was able to provide Winnie an additional two years filled to the brim with love before I gave her the final gift of a gentle goodbye. Thank you.

Thank you for advocating for my pets’ needs when my heart is louder than my head, for being such an invaluable resource in the small pet community, and for treating my pets with the utmost kindness and respect. I truly appreciate everything you and the Fall River team do.

Milo is known to be a bit spicy but he really put on the full show during his first visit to the Fall River Veterinarian Hospital. We were both treated with kindness and respect despite Milo’s bad manners. I've taken 2 cats here now, and I feel like the vet doctors, techs, and assistants all truly care about my pets, and also about me being informed about how best to take care of them.

I especially want to shout out Dr. Yoon who helped us through the difficulty of finding out our first cat had late stage cancer and guiding us through the process of giving her a peaceful end. I then had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Yoon again with our new kitten, and she gave me tons of useful advice and also understanding since she remembered our first cat. It made me feel like a person, not just a client and I appreciate that! I also appreciate Dr. Yoon's upfront discussion of what procedures will cost, what exactly are for, and allowing me to consent to what I think is best given her advice.

Dr. Yoon and the Fall River Animal Hospital are amazing. A few months back I took Coco in for his yearly vaccines and mentioned to Dr. Yoon that Coco´s skin and weight had become an issue. After she ran a few tests, Coco was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. The treatment went wonderful, we got everything back to normal and I am extremely happy. There are lots of good vets out there, what makes Dr. Yoon stand out (aside from being an amazing doctor) is that you never feel like she sees you and your dog as just business, she truly cares about your animal. She made me feel extremely comfortable that I was not being sent extra tests, medications, etc (which is easy to feel at a lot of places).
