Note: we stayed for a bike race/Crankworx event on a summer weekend.

I’ll start by saying the room was very clean and nice. It had lots of amenities for cooking and enjoying the hot tub. However, the room description really evades informing the guest of a few crucial things: no air conditioning (room was very warm), the hot tub is literally right next to the parking area with no privacy barrier and there are bright parking lot lights, and those said parking lot lights shine into the room at night since the window does not have a blackout curtain.

Additionally, you cannot bring bikes into the room, which is fine but should be made clear when booking the room (not in some insanely small fine print in an email) so that guests can plan accordingly with locks/storage. Lastly, this is a huge point that was frustrating to us, there are no hotel services available at this lodge in the summer. There is no front desk service in the building so you have to go to a totally different location for everything. They did not specify that there would be no room service, which again isn’t a huge deal, but we needed new towels after using the two provided for the hot tub and when room services did not come or provide them, we called the front desk and they were quite rude about bringing us towels.

The front desk staff in the other location seemed to have no clue what was going on with the firelight lodge, as they couldn’t even tell us where in the building the room was located so we could know which door to bring our bags to. They also refused to tell us where the restroom was in the lobby when checking out. If this resort is going to market hotel rooms the same way they would in the winter, then they need to provide the same amenities.

It's a great location, but, the owners need to get more comfortable beds (mattresses). Our recent unit had two minute (32 inch ) TVs, and no sound system (unless you include a 20 year old Sony speaker with an ancient Apple connection)
But still , the hot tub was nice .

We really liked this lodge. Very close to the tubing, skating and beginner hills. Short walk to the main village and gondola. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are very helpful. Only reason it’s not a 5 star review is the hot tub is old and could use a refresh, as noted in other reviews.

The hotel itself is pretty darn nice. It's a bit deceptive that it's advertised as ski in ski out though because it isn't. It's about a 100-yard walk from the ski locker to the far side of the main parking lot and then another 200 yards to be lift side; mostly uphill, so not skiable from the hotel. The shower head is a water saver, and it was very annoying. The staff were great and responsive to any request, and they gave us a food voucher because the washer dryer overflowed. Not their fault, just bad luck. I would stay here again because it's clean and modern and the staff are great...but if you are looking for a true ski in ski out...look in the village area. One other note, the underground parking is 7 foot at one end and goes down to 6'6' at the other so if you are in a truck you might not be able to park in the underground since there are limited high clearance spots and it's first come first serve.

Clean, well laid out, easy 5min walk to village.
Lost a Star due to no freezer compartment in fridge. Next to awesome skating pond maintained by a Zamboni. Did I mention clean? Great visit.
Pro tip -for ski in return to Lodge, stay to the Lodge side of the tube runs and skating pond...

It was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were mordern and clean and our view of the pond was amazing. The big rooms on the corners had personal hot tubs but all the others had to share a mid size public hot tub that overlooks a busy public walkway. There is not much privacy when in the hotubs. All in all was great underground parking was a treat.

Comfortable accommodation on the mountain. Ski in and ski out, just down the road from a lift, right next to the skating pond and tube park. Rooms are spacious and modern. Staff are helpful but not over present. It's only a short walk to the main village, otherwise the rooms are well equipped of you want to cook for yourself.

Stunning property! Private hot tubs are the best feature. Great mountain, new gondola, excellent 10 pin bowling alley in the same building. Food and drinks too.
