On se mande s'il s'agit d'un musée ou d'un hôtel. En fait, c'est une ancienne banque ! Votre hôte vous fait visiter l'établissement et vous raconte l'histoire de la maison. C'est très intéressant et l'endroit est charmant. Les petites salles de déjeuner, le salon, les locaux communs, tout fait ressortir l'époque. Nous avions une suite au 2ème étage. Juste magnifique. Un grand salon avec une cheminée. La chambre spacieuse avec un lit très confortable. La salle de bain avec une baignoire et une robinetterie authentique victorienne. Magnifique. La déco est très soignée, la propreté impeccable, le tout est très douillet. ||Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux.||L'établissement est près de tout, à pied.||Une excellente adresse à recommander sans hésiter.

Sublime hôtel au coeur du centre-ville, des attractions et de la vie nocturne. Personnel sympathique, chambre étonnante (Bell room #3) et salles communes charmantes. Le stationnement est gratuit et nous avons eu la permission de laisser la voiture jusqu'à 15 h même si le ''check out'' est à 11 h. Le petit déjeuner est simple, mais il fait le travail. Tant qu'à payer une somme importante pour une nuit dans un chaîne d'hôtels, aussi bien, passer la nuit au Frontenac Clun Inn.

Une nuit à la hauteur du village de Kingston, dans un endroit pittoresque et charmant. Tout est accessible à la marche et les chambres sont magnifiques, en plus d'un personnel souriant et connaissant l'histoire de cet endroit. Nous avons adoré notre expérience et cela vaut milles fois un hôtel de chaînes !

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love it here! My first stay and I’ll be back in August. Already looking forward to it 😊. I’ve stayed at some amazing hotels including The Savoy in London earlier this year and the Frontenac Club is among the best! So homey, so beautiful, absolutely perfect. The owners and staff are amazing. The breakfast was wonderful. My room was stunning. I agree with another review I read … I think a good goal would be to stay in every room. See u in August!

We cannot overstate the level of enjoyment a few days at the Club gifted us.
Central -- walking distance to world class food.
Self contained -- don't walk anywhere! Stay in and have fabulous food or drink brought to you.
Bragging rights-- this limestone edifice was the first Bank of Montréal building outside Quebec. Step inside the original vault before you venture to the exclusive members only bar, outdoor fire, sauna....crave charcuterie? It's an option.
Attention to detail? Put on your bathrobe, turn on the fire and pick a vinyl LP. We picked the suite dedicated to some of Kingston's musical icons. The Tragically Hip donated Platinum awards to the décor. The Actual awards. We really had to tear ourselves away from this place to wander the 2 blocks away to the downtown heartbeat of Canada's original Capital city.
We are blessed to travel occasionally, but with intent. This venue will always occupy a place in our cherished memory file.
To be sure, a place is only as good as it's worst employee! We did NOT encounter one. Our hostess Jen came in early our second day just to gleefully tour guide us through the suites we didn't choose. (For our next visit...Churchill)
Arthur Milned served our breakfast and we bonded over parallel careers in Crime & Punishment. Look him up...a King Charles lll award winning Canadian. Kristi-- we met last minute on our last day who was as real and wonderful as anyone could ask for. The common theme is pride in the Club and their association to it.
We bought a membership and look forward to getting out of Muskoka and continuing our exploration of the old world elegance the Frontenac Club offers!

I would like to start off stating I have never written a review prior to this one, as I have not ever been impressed enough to do so. We travel often throughout Europe, North America and the Caribbean. We stay in a lot of of higher end boutique hotels and larger properties as well.

The owner was there to receive us and check us into our suite, the property and the location are second to none in Kingston, convenient and walking distance to everything you will want to see in down town Kingston.

The rooms are very chic, upscale and comfortable with all amenities in the room that a traveler would want. The linens and towels and toiletries are all high end name brand products.

The property is a restored vintage bank, well designed and architecturally converted to a boutique hotel with a great roof top view of the St. Lawrence seaway.

The lounge/bar area was closed when we arrived, Peter opened it up for us and made us cocktails and supplied us with wine and every other request we asked him about.

The other guests we spoke with on the property all had the same opinion of the staff and the property, one of the best we all agreed that we have ever had the privilege of visiting.

There is not much more I can say other than a 10/10 and I am fussy, so a review from me should carry a great weight to help you select this property for an upcoming visit to Kingston or a local special occasion get away.

Cannot say enough great things about this gem in Kingston. Rooms-spectacular. Food/drinks/service - amazing. Also tried the Stoked Sauna option this winter and it was so cozy and relaxing. Benoit walked us through the steps of the cold plunge and sauna flawlessly. 10/10 recommend.
