We rented out this space for our wedding ceremony! It turned out really beautiful, the windows and the natural light in the atrium area was stunning. The view is beautiful and you can’t go wrong any season of the year! It worked out nicely we could keep the bridal parties separate when we both arrived shortly before the ceremony. Truly the only downside was our rehearsal, we showed up and just toured ourselves around as we had many times there prior to the wedding there was no one from the Galt Museum that walked us through any sort of details or pointed out exactly where things would be set up. If we knew that was how it would go we may not have bothered with it as we had to do it 5 days early due to other events being booked so our wedding parties couldn’t be present. We would recommend for wedding ceremonies or other events for sure!

I visited this place first time for Diwali Celebration program. I must say I’m totally impressed and enjoyed a lot. The place was very clean and spacious. The people are very polite and helpful. We really enjoyed the performance. The location of this museum is amazing, ample of parking available for visitors. I will definitely visit again to explore the historic side of the city. I like the small store at entrance.
Definitely great place to visit with family/friends.
I’m looking forward for more such events to cherish the cultural diversity.

Small but well put together museum. Very modern building, with an archive on the bottom floor. Friendly museum staff. The admission fee is very reasonable. Many tables to escape the heat with a wonderful view.

Too cringe for 5 whole stars but most of the staff were very helpful and enthusiastic and made the experience very pleasant. The one employee cost everyone else two stars, though. Sorry, yall.

It's a pretty cool Museum and has some interactive exhibits. The two kids that we went with between the ages of 6 and 9 seem to have a good time as well. They also have some fun activities for kids over the weekend you need to check their website to see before you go.

We had an afternoon visit here. We visited here after going to Fort Whoopup where we received a 50% off our admission to the Galt. The discount really makes the visit worthwhile.

Rob was manning the kiosk and it was a most friendly and professional experience.

If you only do the gallery, then it will take about an hour to read all the placards and take pictures.

You get greeted by a mounted bison upon entering with a most interesting diaroma of southern Alberta.

It was interesting finding out about the purple plane and Uncle Ben's Sick Brewery.

Lastly, the gift shop was one of the better that we've visited in the Lethbridge area.

Thanks again Rob for your assistance.

Higher view point for the railway bridge . Some interesting outdoor shows and nice trails . I like the model of rivers and dam because Ijust visit ST MARY dam. The metal wheels on feild is the sharning diamond .One of trails is the way to another historic point the WOOD. It is worthy to have a look especial at morning .Sunlight is coming from back then .

Venue was lovely. HOWEVER, it would have been really nice if the number provided to call when we arrived with the bridge did not go directly to voicemail repeatedly AND if the coordinator we called inside (our hire) could have convinced the staff that letting the bride through the locked doors and providing the escort to the room that was promised would have been great. As it was we had to pound on the door and get the groom's mother's attention so we could get in. There was never an escort, never saw the promised room - instead we had to tell them to start the ceremony and then run down the hall to join the procession.
The wedding coordinator did speak to staff and was told (we were on speaker so this is completely true) that the bridge would have to wait because they were helping a customer.
i doubt that the customer was paying what we did.
AND i think the email that goes out to wedding venue renters should be edited to read, " You are free to call this number, and if we are not helping someone with postcards or whatever, we may answer. You are not a priority. The folks wandering through the giftshop are more important than you are on this day you are mistakenly thinking is special. Try pounding on the locked doors in hopes of getting a visitor's attention and if that doesn't work go through the regular doors because you are not special to us on this day and what you paid is just for the space - certainly not sufficient for us to respond to the number we sent you, or to follow through on what we promised"
