I took my first tour with this agency a few years ago and I had an excellent experience. I couldn't travel for 2 years due to the pandemic, but as soon as i found out about this tour I decided to travel again with the agency. I even invited some friends and I told them about my first experience.

This second tour met my expectations once again. It was organized, the guides were serious about their job and committed to doing their best for all of us.
My friends and I enjoyed our trip which had multiple places that we had the opportunity to visit.
Overall, we had a good group and we shared and enjoyed quality time. We returned home with wonderful memories and hoping to continue to travel in the future. Great service.

Our family never used a travel agency before and now I know we’ve been missing out. Gateways planned our family trip to Italy and they did not miss a beat. From the transportation to the tour guides, every detail was thought of. Additionally, our kids have food allergies and we were worried with the language barrier, but we didn’t need to be. Gateway’s informed all of the venues and they were accommodating.

Our family of 7 traveled to Greece with a stop in Turkey for 2 of us to end 2022 summer vacations and the trip was outstanding! The professionalism of Gateways International Tailor-made Tours agency was very evident when events out of their control due to airline cancellations occurred at one point. Our travel agent rushed and helped to rearrange hotels and flights for the large group. After so much dedication he successfully got the group out of Turkey to meet the rest in Greece to embark on a wonderful cruise experience. The travel agent even managed to make up the lost day tours in Athens at the back end of the adventure. Planning for trip was a good experience as well as the agent kept us always informed and up to date with COVID testing protocols - everything was perfect. The Celestyal Cruise line was great and an accommodating all-inclusive experience for our large and diverse group. The staff there and the workers on our excursions were all friendly and helpful and managed the big group with ease. Our trip occurred without a problem and now we have lifetime memories of our time together. We are already planning our next adventure with them! Thank you team!

This is the one company I know to genuinely work with you to make sure you are satisfied, especially throughout times of travel during the pandemic. December 2020 I had arranged tickets with Talia from the company who made me fully understand any sort of testing that I might have to undergo in Germany, rules within the country and even helped arranged a ticket on a date that worked with my budget. I have been greatly satisfied with all their work til date!

I went in with an open mind, it was my first time using a travel agency. Only reason I went through with these guys cause my grandmother and some other relatives were using them for an upcoming trip to Greece. Long story short I thought it was bad. The way they sold and painted a pretty picture for us vs the actual reality of the trip was sadly disappointing. I couldn’t even properly enjoy the trip cause the tour guide was practically rushing us to keep moving and grouping us together like a bunch of sheep, and the group itself was so big it was just a hassle keeping everyone together. And God forbid someone goes to the washroom cause if they did everyone had to stay put and wait. Everything was on a tight tight schedule, there was barely anytime to actually properly enjoy the sites. After an excursion was over you felt like you went through boot camp. Honestly haven’t felt that way since grade school. Someone told me they had previously went on two other trips using this agency but with a much smaller group and that it was far better than this trip went. And that this was the first time they went on a trip with such a big group(around 50 people). Worst part of the trip was when our flight got cancelled to our next destination and we lost 2 days of our trip to the airport. I paid for 15 days of relaxation but honestly I came back more tired and frustrated. You’re better off doing some research where you’re going and planning things out and coming up with a back up plan if things go south. First and last time using a travel agency, especially this one. And pro tip, don’t do large groups.
