Our family (8 of us) got there. Got all the kids in the pool. Went down the waterslide once-was in the pool for 5 minutes and we had to get out due to chlorine issue. That’s fine-but they wouldn’t refund us. Only rain check. We live four hours away and won’t use a rain check. Super disappointing.

Nice place! Had fun. Only 6$, just wish there was one more big water slide that went into the deep end.

They open it 2pm. They have lots of chairs for you. You can sit in the shade or sit in the sun and they only let 75 people in, so everyone has one adult or two with them. The pool has lots of room for the kids, perfect. The lineup starts at 1:30 lol make sure you're there before 2pm to get in for sure, especially if you're driving from Winnipeg.

Really disappointing experience two years in a row. Packed up all 3 kids and made the drive out on a Saturday only to have the pool at capacity and 25+ people waiting in line. There is tons of space in the pool and around in the grass so it really doesn't seem like there is a reason to have such low capacity? Maybe staffing? We arrived before noon so the pool had only been open for less than an hour meaning that families would likely not be done anytime soon and with 25+ people ahead of us we were not willing to wait in line that long. Luckily there are lots of nearby beaches.

Nice facility but poor hours for free swim and the capacity of 50 during the summer is ridiculous. They let a bunch of kids wait outside in line for 40 minutes before turning them down at the entrance desk. How about having someone outside to let people that they won’t be getting in so they don’t waste their time. How about extending the open swim hours during peak months of July and August? How about putting in more effort to get more staff.

I had a fabulous time when I visited the gimli aquatic centre. These young workers have been doing a fabulous job with such little staff. I highly recommend!!!!

People need to understand that lifeguards can only watch a certain amount of people and that is why some days their capacity is very low. If you know anyone that is a lifeguard why not send them their way instead of complaining about it all the time.
