A beautiful little town in Lake Winnipeg with a very active summer schedule of public events for both local residents and tourists. Hospital, nice beaches, library, good grocery and pharmacy stores, restaurants, accomodations and amenities make this a pleasant place to visit.

Nice clean beach with most people adhering to social distancing. While there are no shells, children can look at the numerous rocks in the water. The water was a bit cloudy but without algae. Water bed slopes slightly and not very deep close to the beach. Can be very windy so hold on to your hats and beach balls.

Cool place to visit on vacation, the people are very nice and its a great looking community. Tried fishing but didnt have any luck. My family really enjoyed visiting.

Lovely Beach. Lots of people there on a Saturday in July but didn't feel overcrowded. Washroom facilities were clean but more would be helpful.

Always loved going to Gimli beach, from childhood to now. There's always been a connection. Would stand on the peer and look out on the waters, watching the visions of the Vikings Boat coming home. The Speed, the crash of the waters against their powerful forces. The strokes of the oarsmen, the vibrations of thunder, Thor the God that lead them to wonder. As they landed on shores they stood in full wonder but ready to battle at the words of the plunder. The strengths that they had, the battle there in they took what they wanted and never called it a sin. They stand with me now and kneel in my head I say "Arise" go battle and take from the Rich! If you're Evil they'll cast you to hell, for they know what you did, if you think that they're kidding, you best think again!

Clean and lots of picnic tables to set up your lunch. Patrols walk the area to pick up garbage and lifeguards are on duty. A change room is available.
