Accueil chaleureux de Brigitte qui parle assez bien le français. Nous avions la chambre "Sunrise", très spacieuse, très propre qui était au dessus du garage, avec tout ce que l'on pouvait avoir de besoin : une TV, un réfrigérateur et une cafetière déjà prête juste à peser sur le bouton. Salle de bain moderne et très spacieuse, presque aussi grande que la chambre et encore une fois très propre. Déjeuner excellent et adapté selon vos préférences. Vraiment d'excellents hotes.. Note parfaite 

Un petit séjour parfait! La chambre était magnifique, belle et propre. Le service impeccable. Un bon petit déjeuner servi en chambre le matin. Bien située près de tout. Une excellent visite nous en gardons de bon souvenir ☺️

Pour une amoureuse de la nature et des vues pittoresques comme moi, rien de plus beau et de plus charmant qu’un séjour a Gingerbread House Inn. Un bel emplacement dans une campagne qui ne demande qu’à être visitée de temps en temps et un service impeccable en passant par le délicieux petit-déjeuner au personnel chaleureux. Et sans oublier un confort et un sentiment de félicite qui vous poussent à revenir y séjourner. Une expérience unique qui vaut la peine d’essayer pour le plaisir du corps et de l’esprit. Mille mercis au manager pour un tel professionnalisme.

Experience was top notch, they where kind enough to allow for an early check in, I found the check in time a bit late at 4pm as well as check out seemed early as well at 10am. Lucky for us we didn't drink much while in town and had no issues leaving on time.

The hot tub was great but got too hot after awhile with no way to change the temp, it was advised online that there would be a chlorine odor and after reading the reviews on odor and dampness I was worried about sleeping. The room was well ventilated we hardly noticed the smell of chlorine or a dampness, the bed was nice and cozy and loved the cottage style decor.

Everything was 10-15 minute walk from the inn which was great, drove into town for lunch and parking was no issue and walked out for dinner later on.

The damage deposit was a bit unusual, we are used to leaving a credit card on file, I was surprised when they actually took the 500 deposit on top of the 270 for the reservation off of our card.

Great spot we stayed in the country suite and I was worried about the chlorine in the area sleeping. But they had an air ionizer there which made a huge difference ! Great thinking would highly recommend. ||Very spacious and welcoming. I would also recommend the Port Pub and bistro which is 6 minutes away !

We were excited to stay at the Gingerbread Inn after reading the reviews and looking at photos, however were quite disappointed by the experience. We stayed in the Carriage House, and the directions were very specific on parking in the assigned spot. Unfortunately, our spot was used to dump snow, so the passenger was left getting into the snow bank to try and leave space for the other vehicle. ||The outside was not maintained. The path leading up to the room was not cleared more than 5 inches, making it hard to navigate with a suitcase. The interior of the room was also disappointing, the furniture was incredibly damaged, and did not reflect the “romantic” getaway we expected. Additionally, the kitchen and bathroom were dirty, with residue on the countertops. ||The TV was nice, and the water was hot. However that was really the only really redeeming qualities of the stay. I wouldn’t recommend the Inn if you’re looking for a nice experience. However if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep, it’s probably fine.
