Emma and Ryan from Global Work and Travel have been absolutely amazing!

Jade is a great trip co-ordinator. She really helps you out in any way that you need and explains things very well. Jade will never let you down and I would strongly recommend her to anyone that is considering to work with Global Work & Travel. I am 100% satisfied. If you’re looking to travel and work in other countries then this is definitely the company you need to sign up for. Ask for Jade if you choose to sign up here. Global Work and Travel completely ripped us off. My partner and I paid them over $5,000 for a service that they absolutely did not deliver on. They overpromised before taking our money and then left us stranded.

We were sold on the idea that we’d receive a job and staff accommodation before arriving in Canada. That never happened. Not even an interview. Once we landed (with full trust in their process), we were finally offered one job interview nearly two weeks into our trip—which is already unacceptable. That employer took another two weeks to get back to us, only to reject me because they needed someone through October (but I plan on heading home in the last week of Sept).

At that point, Global told us there were no other job opportunities and that we would just have to wait. Meanwhile, we had already spent an extra $4,000 on accommodation we never planned for—because we had no income.

We were originally told not to expect work or housing near the mountains because of our February arrival—something they never disclosed during sign-up. So, we took matters into our own hands. Within four days of arriving in Whistler, we BOTH had jobs and staff accommodation lined up—completely on our own. No thanks to them.

So, let’s be clear:

$5,000 to Global = wasted.

$4,000 in unnecessary accommodation = wasted.

Zero meaningful support.

One job interview total.

No transparency.

Completely misleading from the start.

If you're considering using this company—DON'T. Save your money, trust yourself, and organise your own working holiday. We learned the hard way, but maybe you don’t have to.

Ryan was an incredible trip coordinator who made my au pair journey so far stress free and smooth. He was always helpful, responsive and went above and beyond to ensure everything was in place. His guidance and support made a huge difference and I truly appreciate his dedication. Highly recommend!

My initial travel had been delayed due to COVID but they helped me switch to a new fun filled working adventure in Canada and it is amazing definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Waking up and seeing the snowy mountains, walking up it is breathtakingly magical and I am so thankful to all the team that made sure I got there safely.
