Very nice hotel with a very convenient location. The decor is a little dated, best described as "80's classy", it would do well with a more elegant upgrade.
The room was clean and bright. Very pleasant experience, except for one experience that would have been completely avoidable.
My husband and I traveled to CornerBrook, on a business/pleasure trip. After a long day of driving, taking care of some professional commitments and attending a social event, we decided to stop at the lounge for a cocktail before bed.
The lounge was very nice, with some live music being played at a very comfortable volume for conversation.
My husband ordered an espresso martini, while I ordered an old fashioned. The server barked at me that "we don't have any bourbon". When I suggested another type of whiskey (which would have been my preferenceanyway), I was told "we don't do that".
I ordered another choice, we finished our drinks and left for the evening.
The next evening, we chose to go to another higher-end hotel close by, for our cocktails before bed.

Spent two nights here as part of a tour. The Inn is 100 years old and really charming in a lovely setting. We really liked walking around the pond, it was beautiful. Both our breakfasts were very good. Areas of the Inn definitely need refreshing but everything was clean. Our bed was quite comfortable and the windows opened which was great for getting some fresh cool air.
My only complaint was the state of the shower in room 126. There was great water pressure and tons of hot water but it was tricky to adjust the temperature and the fixed shower head did not work so a hand held was attached. It hung at a strange angle and was hard to adjust. Washing my hair was not fun. The toiletries are not great, no body-wash, just bar soap and I had to ask for conditioner ( the room attendant was great). If they updated the bathroom it would really make for a better experience.

Beautiful hotel. Comfortable bed and clean linen.
Complimentary breakfast was very good.
The staff was courteous and efficient at check in as well as check out.
Highly recommend. Will stay here again.

We staid at the Glynmill Inn the first two nights of our McCarthy's bus tour. The room was okay and it was nice to be able to open the window. The breakfast in the dining room offered several choices and was good.|In the evening we enjoyed live entertainment by Lorna Lovell. She is a singer/songwriter and her music really made our evening.|What I found most outstanding was the friendliness of the staff. Special thanks go to Tara, whose warm, friendly smile accompanied her wishes for a good night and greeted us in the morning. It was a pleasure meeting you, Tara!

1920’s hotel from a grander era before comfort inns and Keurig coffee makers that is showing its age, but still well worth a stay, Big, quiet rooms with very comfy beds and such silence. Nice dining room as well. Fun to be staying in town as well. The Holiday Inn Express lovers may complain about worn carpet, but having windows that can open and a room big enough to put out your luggage is worth it. Happy to see this place is alive and kicking. Maybe some friendly ghosts too. Good karma.
