We had a great time with our very knowledgeable and entertaining guide, Darren. Dave, the Storyteller, was informative and interesting, teaching us about his life and his culture in a non-threatening manner. He even got us singing! It was a pleasure to have spent this time together. And the kayaking was great too!

Had such a great kayak tour! Loved the small group setting and personal attention we all got to make sure we were properly outfitted and comfortable in our kayaks. Such pretty scenery and had a perfect weather day. Will totally go again if I ever find myself back in Saint John.

What a fantastic experience...we did kayaking with an indigenous storyteller a few days ago and LOVED it. They were well organized, equipment was high quality and well maintained, the organizers were just wonderful folks. Our group had varying levels of kayaking experience, and instructions were clear and safety focused. We loved the stories, songs and history lessons incorporated in the activities. Food was involved... including we got to sample sturgeon and cook bannock over the campfire!...and all foods were fresh and delicious and more than we had expected. The area we paddled was truly beautiful, augmented by being able to spot an eagle in its nest, a hawk, and the truly amazing sight of sturgeon leaping from the water. Paddling back by moonlight and head lamps was amazing. I highly highly recommend this experience!!

It was my first experience, kayaking, and Darren made it the best. He has a very keen observation, and great knowledge about kayaking and the area, which makes him a very reliable instructor for the activity.
I'd say of it's your first time, kayaking just go with Go Fundy Events. Great experience!

I could not possibly give this company and the lovely people there more praise. They went above and beyond and have been the most amazing introduction to the city of St John that we could ever ask for. Upon not being able to find a taxi to their place, we took a cruise here, we called them to see what we could do. The owner, Wanda, then CAME AND PICKED US UP!!!! That is beyond amazing, and then she took us on a mini tour as she brought us to the launch point. The whole day was amazing, we saw bald eagles, a sturgeon, beautiful fossils, and a really cool foggy covered lake. We had to hop into one of the inlets after an hour to wait out a lightning storm, got soaking wet, spent a good time talking about random things, and had a blast. After the storm passed we finished the trip and powered back just to get poured on again in the last 5 minutes. After we loaded all up the gear, the guide, Darren, gave us a ride back and even offered to stop off at a store for us on the way. They were the best human beings I could have ever asked to meet, and it gives me genuine faith in humanity that people like them exist. I will be returning all the way from NJ, USA just to be able to take another tour through them. They went above and beyond and were incredible, I highly recommend taking a trip with them.

We recently completed the River Relics Tour with Darren and Kevin and it was really great! Our group included 2 50- somethings and 6 20-somethings. We have a range of athletic ability and stamina, but we ALL really enjoyed the tour. Darren is very knowlegeable about the geography of the area as well as the flora and fauna. We saw a bald eagle and it's nest and there were a bunch of sturgeon jumping. One hit the bottom of my kayak! If we are ever back in New Brunswick, we will look up this company for another tour!

Visited St. John for four days and my two unforgettable Go Fundy Events were a big part of it! Both the kayak tour and the bike tour were a perfect combination of outdoor exercise, local history, fun facts, and relaxation. Tours were slightly customizable depending on group size and personal preference, and guides truly went above and beyond. Will certainly try to visit again in the future. 10/10 mini-adventure meets classic Canadian East-Coast hospitality.

What a great way to get out of the city for a bit and enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds St John. We had an awesome paddle with Darren, who was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history and ecology of the area and clearly passionate about it as well. The trip was well paced and we really enjoyed the stops to hear about some of the very cool geological features and spot some local wildlife. (Side note, we were also provided with great phone bags that were secure from water but still worked very well for photo taking!) As we were on a cruise ship, Darren even gave us a lift back into town, advising on the best time to go back up to see the reversing falls and where to grab a late lunch. We loved it!
