I had the pleasure of skiing 2 unforgettable days with Dave recently and they were the best days of my life. We explored some of the best couloirs in Roger’s pass - true bucketlist terrain.

From planning the trip last minute to grabbing snacks when all is done at the parking lot, everything went smoothly and had a smile from ear to ear the whole time.

Dave is really attentive to what you want to experience, your comfort level and knows how to get you in the right spots. He also knows how to push you just past your limits and guide you all the way through so you don’t freak out. He’s truly a remarkable guide and excellent at minimizing danger and unknown variables in the mountains.

I’m already looking forward to meeting with him again next year for some couloirs!

Our work team had the opportunity to be guided by Dave this winter in the slack country of Kicking Horse Mountain resort. It was an amazing experience! Dave shared his knowledge with us in a very accessible and friendly way. We then head out to ski the best powder! We all felt super safe and our abilities were respected! I've now done two trips with Dave & crew - one hut trip at Sunrise and another 5 day sidecountry/backcountry combo adventure at Kicking Horse and Rogers Pass. Both were extraordinary in their own ways and I would jump at a chance to do either again. Dave is fun, patient, and compassionate while always being vigilant of group dynamics & energy levels, weather, terrain, safety, snowpack concerns, etc. The trips are BIG, and the days can be long, but we always got into incredible terrain, saw huge views, had fun, laughed and learned a ton. It is an absolute delight to be skiing in big mountains with these guys, who are total professionals but feel like you are touring around with friends. Even on an early season low snow trip, we had an absolute blast!

Dave took us out for an amazing day with lots of fun, shredding and educational avalanche training as well as sharing lots of details about techniques, gear and the environment that we were in. Our group had many different levels of skill but Dave found a way to make it so that everyone felt safe, engaged and had a good time with each other in the mountains.
Great guide who always knows where to find the right goods depending on the weather and snow and an even better companion to chat to and have an awesome time in the snow with.

Just finished a great trip with Dave. We were a more experienced crew looking to learn more about stepping out into more challenging terrain. Dave did a great job tailoring the day to group expectations/experience and was excellent at explaining decision making points throughout the day. Great time!

Dave was able to response to everyone goals in our group in one day. It included snowboarding tips, digging a pit, doing a beacon practice, shreading hard and being challenge in our knowledge of the snowpack!! He manage to made everyone needs feel important and responded without feeling rush. Just for that, he deserves a 5 stars review!!

Dave was also generous with his knowledge and was also respectful of our levels of understanding and experience.

The terrain choice was awesome. It helps us making the most out of our day and allow us to ski hard and have a blast!

We just returned from an outstanding "shredder moms" ski trip to Roger's Pass. Our guides were top notch in every way, navigating a low snow pack and variable terrain to bring us great turns, big laughter, joy and education.
