What an unforgettable experience! From beginning to end, we had an absolute blast. This was my first time doing a guided tour, and I can confidently say I’d 100% recommend Grape Escapes Wine Tours. Our driver, Rod Strike, was amazing—friendly, attentive, and made the whole day completely seamless. The tour itself was relaxed and effortless; Rod took care of everything so we could just enjoy ourselves. Lunch was delicious, and we were always well-hydrated with water on hand throughout the day. A truly fantastic experience!

We had a super wine tasting tour with Grape Escapes last week in Summerland as we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary! We visited four wineries and were very happy with the ones that they chose for us. We bought wines at each of them, which are not available in our BC liquor stores. Our guide, Mel, was amazing! He’s very knowledgeable and was attentive to making sure we had a great wine tasting experience at each location. Our group had only four in it so it felt very personal. I highly recommend Grape Escapes!

This is the number one place to book with. The professionalism is top notch. Mel, our driver, is the best guy ever - really knowledgeable and knows his wines. The lunch was amazing, everything tasted fresh. Words cannot even describe how much we had fun on this tour. We be back next year!

We had a private wine tour from Penticton down through Oliver and Oysoyous and was a great tour and highly recommended.
Our tour guide Rod Strike was so informative not only on each winery visited but on the entire Okanagan and its history.
We would definitely do the tour again and request Rod as our guide again next time.
Definitely a 10/10 for the tour and 12/10 for our guide.

We booked a wine tour for my friend’s bachelorette over the long weekend, and it exceeded every expectation! From the moment we were picked up to the final drop-off, everything was thoughtfully organized, fun, and seamless.

A huge shoutout to Rod Strike, our driver, who was absolutely fantastic! He was not only professional and punctual but also so warm, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best time. He kept the energy high, made us feel totally taken care of, and even snapped a few group photos for us at the vineyards—such a gem!

The wineries we visited were beautiful and well-chosen, each offering something a little different. And lunch was phenomenal—fresh, delicious, and so well-presented. It felt more like a curated experience than a tour meal. Everyone in our group was raving about it!

If you’re planning a bachelorette or a special group event, this tour is a must. It struck the perfect balance between laid-back and celebratory, and we’re still talking about how much fun we had. Highly recommend!

My gf booked a tour for her and I with Grape Escape and, boy, was that the right move. We had 4 days in Penticton and without a doubt the best one was wine tour day.

We expected to be on the tour with a bunch of drunk idiots (like us) but instead we were treated to what was essentially a private tour as we were somehow the only ones to book that day. What a score - especially since we got to spend our day with Garth. I’m seeing a lot of love for Mel and Rod in the reviews here but I’m here to shout out my boy Garth 🙌🏼

He took us to four dynamic wineries with incredible staff and equally impressive wines. We learned the ins and outs of this hyper specific industry - some information was gleaned from the winemakers and pourers but most was from Garth himself.
He took the time to educate us as we drank yet clearly understood boundaries and left us to drink and yap and enjoy the best the Okanagan had to offer.

10/10 would have a glass of wine with Garth outside of work hours and without a doubt will book a tour with the organization the next time we’re anywhere near the bench.

Awesome wine tour experience for my hubby's bday. We went with friends and also ended up sharing the tour with 4 other wonderful people, a couple from Australia. Our tour driver Rod Strike was amazing! Good conversation, recommendations and laughs!

Rod from Grape Escapes took us on an adventure around the Naramata Bench on Saturday, June 28th and we had an absolute blast. Not only was he super informative but he also matched our vibe 100%. It was fun and we were fully prepared for what the day was going to bring because he gave us thorough instructions from the get-go. We enjoyed a lot of great wine and learned a ton about wine tasting and wine making.
