Cette résidence est confortable et bien située cependant l'accueil laisse à désirer et plusieurs éléments fréquemment offerts sont manquants tels que: piscine int/ext, plage, restaurant, gym. En revanche, la région avoisinante est riche en activités nautiques et pédestres, ainsi qu'en restauration et découvertes de toutes sortes.

Nice, friendly place. Very cozy in the wintertime. Gas fireplace was already lit when we entered the room and remained on the entire time. Lots of room for the two of us. Super quaint downtown area with a good selection of restaurants and shops, including a vintage vinyl record store! It was 12°F when we arrived but not cold enough, long enough, to try ice fishing. Maybe next time.

Great views from every room, perfect for our fall anniversary trip! This resort is run by the nicest staff. We had an issue with our room at 10:30pm the first night and called the emergency number. Not only did our call get answered but Tina got us a new room immediately and helped us move our luggage. Customer service here is fantastic and you can really tell how much they care about their guests. The horseshoe pit was a nice surprise for a low key day by the lake. The small town nearby is adorable. Dinner at Hook Line & Sinker was cozy and delicious. It was a great place to use as home base while we traveled around Ontario. BIG thank you to Tina, Hannah, and the rest of the staff at the resort. You made our trip so much better by treating us with so much care!

I read some pretty bad reviews of this place and I would say that most are unfounded. The reviews about bad staff are definitely not true, everyone working here was lovely to deal with. People said the beds are like sleeping on a wooden board, but the beds are perfectly fine. Right in the middle of firm and soft. Unfortunately the grounds are really unkempt. The lawn wasn't mowed, the parking lot isn't fully paved, there was garbage on the ground in some places. Behind the back of the building off to the side is a huge pile of construction waste running along the tree line. There are several abandoned properties on and around the resort. One day the OPP was at the abandoned building on the property with their lights on, so we were worried about what was going on there. The boats were all clean and leak free, the sheets were comfortable. We got a nice electric frying pan for our room which worked well for making bacon and eggs in the mornings. The lake is beautiful, the area around the resort has lots to do. We enjoyed playing some of the boardgames in the evenings which you can take from the main office. It's a 2 star experience but if they could clean up the place a bit more then it could be a 3 star

Walk across the lake and see all the deers. There are lots here. Go skiing at Sir Sam's. Excellent too. I love the art forest.

We always have a nice quiet time at this resort. Lots of wild animals - deer - wild turkeys - we fed squirrels and blue jays every day. Always something going on. Just wish we could bring our pup with us. The only negative is the very dated drapes - furniture - flooring.

The one bedroom unit was very large. Had everything we needed. Also had a weeks supply of toilet paper, paper towels and Kleenex, dish soap and laundry soap as well, which is a bonus. Very quiet and serene. Only 10 minute drive to town. Several amenities including a row boat, paddle oat, all beach toys, floaters etc., horseshoe game, board games, BBQs, and great hospitality from the crew. Golf courses nearby as well. Would definitely recommend this place
