Great place to enjoy fall colours and art at the same time, very quiet and peaceful. I just realized that they are building a school there, hopefully, it won't get busy and messed up in future.

A beautiful hiking trail in the middle of sculpture forest. A unique experience for people who enjoys art design. It’s completely free and the sculptures are amazing. The place is pet friendly and there is a beautiful art and design college with classes provided. Parking space is available and I would definitely recommend this place for a unique experience compared to all other hiking trails.

A magical afternoon wandering the Haliburton Sculpture Forest was one of the highlights of our week long vacation in the area. The winding paths are suitable for any level hikers but would be tricky for wheeled travelers (chair, walker, or stroller). Seeing the imaginative works of these sculptors presented outdoors is so clever. It must be very interesting to see the installations change in different seasons. Seeing how snow, fallen leaves, and the greening in spring interact with the works would be neat. One of my companions (a teacher) first thought was that this would be a fabulous field trip experience. They were also pleased to see a wide range of ways for visitors to interact with and learn about the sculptures and the artists. Print materials, web materials, and QR codes with each piece.
One of the "installations" is a place to take a photo to be your own sculpture!
One of my favourite pieces was "Moose Scraps" (#10 on the tour). Fabricated from scrap iron items like horseshoes, rail spikes, chains, and wheels - the rusty iron colour adds a realistic coloration.
The installation "Beaver" is a collaborative effort of local students and professional sculptors. Approaching it a certain fictional land came to mind....
Worth repeated visits!

The walking trails were incredibly peaceful, with the serene beauty of nature all around. Sculptures tucked along the paths added a touch of artistry to the calm atmosphere. But the true highlight was spotting the deers. Watching them was a reminder of the simple beauty that exists in the stillness of the outdoors.

A unique idea to have sculpture along the trail. A few sculptures were placed on the top of stairs, making them inaccessible for people with mobility issues.
It was hard to find the entrance , as it's by the big building under construction currently.
Free entry and free parking on site.
