This WAS my go to place when visiting Lloyd. Unfortunately their pet fees have completely turned me off. I often travel all across Canada & stay in some of the nicest hotels…this locations pet fee is not at all the standard but in-fact a major money grab.

Typically when staying at a hotel there is a one time pet fee of up to 75$, or even 50$ per week for example. Attached photo is their insane pet fees. 35$ for 1 night. 100$ 2-4 nights (2 nights should be 70$, no?) 170$ 5-7 nights (if wanting to stay one extra day outside of the 4 day guideline for example you would be paying an extra 70$ for your pet).

Very disappointing 🙁 I hope they reevaluate this.

It was very comfortable. The tv programming was kinda out of date. Think it was cable idk. Easy to check in and out. Breakfast was very delicious got full. Only thing I have to say was it was very inconvenient to have to go downstairs for a drink n snacks. Get vending machines. Or not. I’ll stay there definitely regardless

Not somewhere to stay if you need quiet to sleep.. the walls are very thin, you can hear the tv very loudly through them or if you have neighbors you can hear their full conversation. Switching rooms was over an hour long ordeal, the only have one front desk staff working and she was run off her feet and also "in training" they should have supported her better here, it would have made a much better guest experience.

We received a text alert that we could check in using contactless entry (or something like that). Tried to use it and the website was down but there seems to be zero point to it when we were given a room that was in progress of being used. When we arrived our room had been given to someone else and they were moved before they moved us in but the room had already been used by the previous people. The bathroom had a nasty spit wad dried onto the ceiling. The people in before us had left a few items in our room and came knocking 3 different times for stuff they had forgotten so we were constanrly interrupted when all we wanted to do was relax and sleep as we arrived around 930-10pm. The bed was quite hard as well. It just wasn't a pleasant stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

One of the quietest places I have ever stayed. I've stayed here a couple times and I think the thin wall reviews are not true.
The microwave is installed very low. This is weird.
The room temperature has always been perfect. I've never had to change it.
The room is spacious and there are many plugs to charge your devices. The tv is easy to plug your laptop into using an HDMI cable.
There are many towels and facecloth available, so you're not relying on housekeeping so much.
The free internet IS pretty slow.
There are a few restaurants and a convenience store within a one minute waking distance.
This is a newer property, so it's nearly impossible to find any faults. Even the ice machines are behind closed doors, so there's no noise from that even.
The staff are amazing.

So far Check in and been not the greatest. I wanted a digital key but does not work and still have to go to front desk. My room was 203 but they tried rraking 353. So far not impressed. Tried using the chat to speak with a agent but they won't respond.

When this hotel opened it was ok

However the beds all need to be replaced as they are now worn out.

So while it looks pretty, the actual accomodation is very very poor.

Bring an air mattress.

I liked this hotel. One warning….. We actually booked a king with shower only but meant to book with a tub. I had never stayed in a hotel without a tub, so made an assumption that there would be one. Read the details. Restaurant and liquor store in walking distance. Clean and quiet. Plenty of room to walk around bed in room. Lots of storage. The charger in the lamp didn’t work and there is no bathroom fan even though it looks as though there is a vent for one in the ceiling. It was very easy to change the temperature of the room to your liking. Lots of parking. Didn’t eat breakfast or visit the pool, so no review there. If we were in town, would stay here again.
