Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans cette hôtel cet été. Nous sommes arrivés tardivement dans la soirée. Des restrictions relatives à l’eau potable ont été imposées par les autorités en raison d’un risque de contamination.

Ce sont des choses qui peuvent arriver et nous le comprenons. L’hôtel a d’ailleurs mis en place des mesures temporaires.

Cependant, nous déplorons de l’avoir découvert à l’arrivée et d’avoir été mis au pied du mur en nous disant : « acceptez vous de loger à l’hôtel malgré ces conditions ? ». En effet, comment trouver au pied levé une nuitée dernière minute en pleine saison… qui plus est dans un secteur isolé et à l’offre limitée.

Voyageant avec un enfant en bas âge, nous aurions aimé être avisé avant notre arrivée afin d’étudier une solution de repli. Nous aurions aimé également que naturellement l’hôtel nous fasse bénéficier d’une remise sur le prix de la nuitée en raison du service dégradé (y compris sur le petit dejeuner)

En conclusion, mauvaise expérience et très déçu. C’est dans ces moment là que l’on mesure la qualité du service client d’une entreprise.

I was there with my wife and my dog Nikola and we had a great time. This is a pet friendly hotel and Nikola enjoyed the stay.
The service from day one was really good and the entire team was pleasant and helpful.
Room was clean and spotless.
Have fresh tea, coffee available 24/7.
Has a small gym and a pool they are maintaining them pretty good.
Breakfast was great and we enjoyed a lot.
Highly recommended!!

We originally planned to go outside Canada for our wedding anniversary but due to some travel restrictions we have decided to make a road trip up north in Ontario. Aiming to preserve our loyalty with Hilton Honors, we have picked Hampton Inn by Midland, which is a perfect location as we wanted to visit Barrie and Collingwood as well.|a. Location -> it is centrally located in Midland and near to establishments like restaurant, grocery stores and gas station. The place looks generally safe even at night and it is pretty quiet even it is beside the road.|b. Price -> the cost is reasonable considering the breakfast was included as well as the parking.|c. Amenities -> the inn has a pool and gym, which is nice to have. |d. Room -> we stayed in a double queen bed set up and since the hotel is relatively new, it was very clean, the pillows and beds were comfortable and you can still feel/smell of its freshness. TV is working fine, the bathroom has an ample space and a lot of towels. The only thing we had a minor issue is with the aircon, it is kinda confusing when you try to set the temp higher (around 23.5C), it will produce heat. It also stops and then resumes on its own. Maybe we just don't know how to operate :-)|e. Staff -> warm and always smiling. We were also able to check in earlier, maybe past 12noon than the standard time of 4pm. Although i picked the room via mobile app, we were assigned to a different room, which is not an issue, coz it is basically the same. ||Overall, we enjoyed our stay, even though, we are almost outside the hotel as we visited different places nearby. But coming back to hotel, gave us the rest we really needed after a long and tiring day.

I reserved an accessible room as I have a mobility disability. I cannot speak highly enough of how accessible my stay at the Hampton Inn Midland was. They thought of almost everything in the accessible rooms including grab bars, more space for wheelchair access, lower counters, access to the pool by a lift, access to the showers by shower chair or in some cases a roll-in shower, etc. The room door was even wheelchair accessible. The general manager and other staff were very helpful and professional. The included breakfast was very good. Staying at the Hampton Inn Midland made my stay great.

Wonderful experience in a very clean hotel with friendly staff (Sarah, Cindy and Lorraine to name a few) ALL staff accommodating to your needs. Want extra towels, just call front desk. We had a mishap where the shower handle fell off first day and we reported at the front desk, on our way into breakfast. When we went back upstairs we had a knock at the door and the problem was fixed within minutes. Can’t say enough about the location, cleanliness, and breakfast choices. We will definitely be back and Midland waterfront is so lovely.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hampton! All the staff help you to feel at home and they are very accommodating. They have a lovely breakfast bar in the mornings and there are restaurants within walking distance! Very convenient location.
I did have a beetle fall from somewhere onto my pillow one night.. Thankfully, two beds!

I have stayed at this hotel many times now for business travel. It is relatively new and my stays have been consistently good. As hotels in Midland go, this is a great option. I do wish they would consistently offer the egg omelettes every morning ( oftentimes there is only scrambled eggs), as it is a potential differentiator from breakfast at the surrounding hotels. Special shout out to Imran at the front desk who is always kind and helpful and makes check in a breeze.

I grew up in the area and have stayed in every hotel on this list along with most B&Bs that have come and gone over 30 years. ||I have now stayed at the Midland Hampton over a dozen times so far this year alone…and there’s a reason. ||I’m on a first name basis with the GM and most of her staff. Booking and checkout is a breeze. Every stay is comfortable and hassle free…and the clean new facilities throughout the property are top notch. I chuckle at some of these other misleading reviews. Don’t kid yourself. I can assure you the other options at this level are slim to none in the immediate area. Feel free to travel to Port Severn or elsewhere further for a much higher rate. Do your homework before you book elsewhere…
