Stayed here for 2 nights in June 2024 in site 1 with a truck camper. Had no issues with theft or suspicious people around the campground. Obviously not as quiet and not in nature as compared to Jak campground just outside Inuvik but very convenient to be close to everything in Inuvik. Walking distance to everything. Excellent shower facilities as well as washer & dryer. I would stay here again. I did stay mid week though, so not sure if the dynamic changes on weekends when locals come out to enjoy the campground. 24hr security in the campground office. The sani dump and water fill (potable water) is free for public use even if you don’t stay at the campground

Could use maintenance. Staff not always available to check in/out. Paid online so we figured it was there problem. Washroom maintenance lacking. Grounds maintenance lacking. Free rv water and dump.

Quite quiet. Close to town. Everything in working order. Free showers, nice hot water. Bathrooms, showers and laundry very clean.

As of July, 2023, this is a dangerous campground. A mob of youngsters were patrolling around stealing things from campers, including a pack with many valuable possessions from me, right off my tent platform, as I slept. The tenting area is especially bad with the area trashed and gear from prior depredations thrown into the surrounding brush. If it weren't for the thefts, partying, graffiti, trash and no showers, this is a handy location.

The worst experience ever! Do not stay here! I feel like the money I spent in this reservation should be refunded. False advertising. When I reserved our site for 2 nights(we only stayed 1) it was advertised as full service, showers, laundry, etc. The bathroom/laundry looks like it was being renovated but no indication it was being worked on. The porta potties were full, totally disgusting. The park overall is a mess and locals look they are are squatting on some if the sites. Do not stay here!

Pass this one by. No showers, no security, no services that are advertised. I think we had locals partying outside our camper for much of the night. Did I mention that we even had difficulty paying for our site? It took numerous trips to the office to find someone to pay, then we actually paid on the way out the next morning.
My advice is to find a place to boondock and save your money.
