Loved the gardens. They were lush and varied. We went late summer so some things were still in bloom. Definitely not peak for other things. The signage was great to learn about different plants and regions where to find them throughout Nova Scotia. The fountain was on and beautiful. We were able to access the building and café no problem and there was a tour taking place we didn't participate in a formal tour and just self guided around. There was lots to see and I would definitely go back!

We arrived a little early in the season and so we're not able to see many of the flowers that were in bud but not yet bloom.

There's a really nice brook with a small waterfall that takes you down into a bog area, a must see for enthusiasts.

There's also a hot house where you can watch botanists work with plants, another interesting stop along the route.

Since we did arrive early in the season, there was no entrance fee, and can not comment on the cost of entry.

This is a great stop if you happen to be in the area, but not really a destination.

Beautiful even in mid-October botanical gardens with several distinct areas. Packs lots of features in a small acreage, it is easy to miss a pond or waterfall unless you look for them.

I loved visiting these gardens with my family. There are nice walking trails around the property, and the plants are arranged by ecosystem. It was great getting a feel for where you can find these plants in nature. Also there are signs that give you history of human use with these plants, written in I believe English and the Mi'kmaq language.

Probably one of, if not the nicest (architecturally/aesthetically) regularly open public buildings in Wolfville to come visit. Lots of space to work and the gardens are beautiful year-round. It's not technically a "quiet" building but the main room is often treated like a library - expect a few glares if you answer a phone call and start talking loudly (I don't mind this - it's nice to have a quiet space like this). That being said, they sometimes have musicians come in to use the space so don't be surprised if there are the odd interruptions!

"We entered the university campus, the garden, and the student agricultural experiment area. You’re only allowed to look—no touching or damaging anything. It’s a wonderful place to visit."

This is a tranquil beautiful place to stroll around. There is a large Central area. The only downfall I seen was that there are several entrances and once it starts to get around dusk I would not recommend walking alone.
