Absolutely love this place. This was my second time going there and we went with friends this time for lunch. I had the double cheese burger which was mouth watering delicious. My wife had thr chicken brie sandwich which was very flavourful. The soup was fantastic the chocolate mousse was the best I have ever had. Service is always amazing and love the atmosphere. Look forward to going again.

We were back in town visiting friends and they wanted to go here. We were surprised to find that this used to be our church in the 80s. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. The food presentation is well done. I had the Turkey sandwich with cauliflower soup. The sandwich was good but had too much sauce that took away from the flavor of the turkey, and the soup had a nice flavor but was less creamy than I would like. If I had paid $14 for the meal, I would not mention this, but for over $25, I expect more attention to detail.

Great experience for a work lunch. Server Allison was very helpful. We advised of some allergies ahead of the meal and she was perfectly equipped to help us navigate the menu. The chef specials were excellent. The food as always was a cut above. We got cute holiday cocktails to start as well -- beautiful and delicious.

Heartland Cafe was simply amazing today! Beautiful and flavourful creations, great service from all staff (thanks Greg!), and lovely ambiance! Had the chance to try their seafood special (salmon from Torino for me today), which was excellent! Looking forward to a return trip!

The place is an absolute gem, location is beautiful and the food is very high quality (difficult to find in Calgary). Allison served us and she’s amazing, she knew it was my dad’s birthday and she brought him a candle and a complimentary glass of wine. 100% recommend, promise you will not be disappointed!

Made an impromptu stop at our favourite Okotoks destination and Heartland Cafe did not disappoint! Greg was our server tonight and did a bang up job serving us and making excellent suggestions for drinks, appetizers and dessert! We’ve always enjoyed his service in the past and tonight was no exception.

We started with the smoked duck and scallops appetizers (the new menu just came out- YUM!). They were our all time favourite starters so far and we have LOVED all the past selections as well! The flavours were bright and fresh and the presentation was 1st class all the way. For the main course my husband enjoyed the BEEF STROGANOFF PAPPARDELLE and I had the BRAISED SHORT RIBS WITH TRUFFLE MASHED POTATOES. Both were absolutely perfect! Lots of flavour and MORE than enough in serving size. We finished the evening with an espresso and LAVENDER LEMON CHEESECAKE! Yum! If you love lemon this is the perfect light and refreshing way to end a meal.

We are so thankful to have such a fabulous authentic European establishment in our community. Laszlo and Victoria have done an amazing job and their pride in ownership shines in everything from the quaint vintage environment (which is now adorned with beautiful Christmas decor) to the first class selection in food. We love supporting local small businesses in town and Heartland will always be near and dear to us as we hosted our quaint intimate wedding at this delightful establishment 5 years ago. We will always be your biggest fans cheering you on! Thank you for your dedication to excellence. It shows! We always love our evenings spent at Heartland.
