What a great, great place to be. Heather is so nice, has so many stories to tell, opens her home and her heart to you. She was very attentive to our need and really went the extra mile for us. Sylvester the cat is great too! It really is just like being home. She is very generous and will help you with anything, have you use the kitchen when possible, etc. We really recommend this place! The large room is so nice and very large, with a balcony with a beautiful view to Portugal Cove.

From the moment I walked through the door, Heather made me feel like I had lived there all my life. The house was spotless, and the room I had, was very comfortable with an incredible view of the ocean from my balcony. Delicious hot breakfasts served every morning. I have raved to all my friends what an amazing place this is to stay, and I would certainly recommend Heather's Haven to everyone. I had such a good time there.

I loved Heather's Haven because Heather is just an inspiring and wonderful hostess. She did all of the design of her home, and what inspires me about her is that she is proactive and nothing gets her down. What a storyteller! She escorted us to the mine tour. We originally had a double bed, but offered us the larger room with just an increase of a few dollars. She called it the Bridal Suite. It had a charming view of Portugal Cove especially the lights at night. She offered us a hot breakfast, but her added touch of tomatoes and cheese made it a little different. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Heathers Haven for 3 nights in July. From the moment we got there until we left we were made to feel as if we were at home. The breakfasts were wonderful and plentiful. The room was spacious and comfortable . He view over of the water was breathtaking

Warum Heather, die superfreundliche Besitzerin, ihr B&B nur 'Haven' und nicht 'Heaven' genannt hat, wird uns ewig ein Rätsel sein: Wir jedenfalls fühlten uns in unserem großen, liebevoll eingerichteten Doppelzimmer gemeinsam (und etwas später jeweils einzeln im willig sprudelnden Jacuzzi) ganz wie im Himmel! ||Schon die Begrüßung war herzlich; wir bekamen Hilfe beim Ausladen des Autos und durften die wunderschöne Katze kraulen, die einfach perfekt in dieses stilsicher dekorierte Haus passt. Von unserem Balkon aus genossen wir den Meerblick - an diesem Tag noch wunderschön, am nächsten dann geheimnisvoll verhüllt. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war heiß und frisch zubereitet und schmeckte uns in dem hübschen Ambiente doppelt so gut. ||Wir können diese Unterkunft auf Bell Island wirklich nur empfehlen; dank Heathers guten Erklärungen fanden wir uns auf der Insel auch bestens zurecht und konnten viel unternehmen. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch gibt es mit Sicherheit keine Frage, wo wir buchen würden.

We had a perfect little stay at Heather’s haven. It was quite and not too busy. A Quaint place with a beautiful view from the front porch. We stayed in the room downstair with Access to our on washroom to use which was very nice. Never even turned on the tv as we just enjoy It’s lovely establishment

What a wonderful trip our family had to Bell Island. We had the entire house and it was perfect. The owner Heather went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. The kids have the rocks you gave them in their room.

I stayed at Heather’s Haven over the long weekend for a wedding on Bell Island. Heather was amazing and the accommodations were great, super clean and really nice rooms. Beautiful view. She went above and beyond for our group. I would 100% recommend!
