What a GREAT find; and gem of a place to stay.
Our family of 6 --PLUS my Mother in law (👀) just spent an entire week here.
The big, homey suite was well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Loads of towels and linens, a nice shower/tub and comfortable beds. Bunk beds were a hit for the younger kids.
The gardens are beautiful, with fruit trees that You're encouraged to harvest from and a nice bbq for use.
A short stroll to the beach for amazing sunsets.
The owner Rob is a treasure. He spent countless hours playing with the kids and doing treasure hunts etc.
We **fully** recommend Higgin's Inn, especially if travelling with kids or family.We can't wait to visit again.

An old-fashioned Inn with all the comforts of modern conveniences, only steps away from a beach. It sounded too good to be true. In reality, it is even better. The hosts are thoughtful and welcoming, attentive but not intrusive. The gracious front yard includes a pond and paths that are easy to navigate. Down the road the forest paths are magical. Kids love the trampoline and the fish.
Inside, a fascinating collection of memorabilia are placed throughout the Inn and there are stories that go with them. A perfect place to unwind and headquarters for all the activities you might wish to explore in this beautiful spot just outside the city limits.

We really enjoyed our stay at Higgins Inn. The kitchen was well appointed and the rooms were comfortable. We were travelling with a teen, 2 adults, and a senior. The room was on the second floor and the stairs were quite manageable for all. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful and serene. It is a place that I would like to come back to and spend a more leisurely time.

Higgins Inn is an older repurposed apartment that has quite a history. The proprietor Rob is full of stories and is a great host They have a garden area on site that you can enjoy. We had the use of the two bedroom Suite on the second floor. We had a full kitchen, dining area, a carpeted living room with a small tv and a full bathroom. Our shared verandah had large table and is partially enclosed. Five minute walk to the beach, lots of hiking trails in the Powell River area. With a 10 minute drive to Powell River with lots of restaurants in the area.

We have been going to Higgins Inn for our annual family get-together far several years and just love it. Rob, the owner and his family are always very accommodating. The grounds are lovely and expansive. We always enjoy the many things to do in the area, especially the nearby beach. A very relaxing holiday indeed.

We have been staying at Higgin's Inn for a week for the past 5 summers. It feels almost like a home away from home.

Robert, Theresa, an co are top-notch. They feel less like the inn owners and more like our friends.

The lovely rooms and close proximity to the beach make it a perfect place to stay in a breathtakingly beautiful part of the world.

Hosts delightful, available but not intrusive. Suite had everything we needed .Short walk to beautiful beach, beautiful garden. Kids enjoyed the trampoline, the koi pond, the swinging bed and the troll house. I enjoyed the deck with view, hours on the beach, comfy furniture
