Will never use Hola Sun again. We got stranded in Cuba at the Grand Aston resort due to the Air Canada strike and they were of no help. We tryied to get a hold of the repairs at the resort for Hola Sun and he was hardly there ,told us that it was not their problem and that we had to deal with Air Canada. We booked through Hola Sun and they were the ones who close Air Canada not us. We tried to contact Hola Sun in Canada and would not reply after many attempts we decided to contact the president of Hola Sun who also chose to block our emails. We did not know when we were going back to Canada and had to pay out of pocket for extra nights at the resort. The rep after a few days showed up and would not at least try to make it better for us at the resort and would not give us a straight answer for going back. Customer service is very poor and I will not use them again. Unless you want to ho through what we went through don't bother with Hola Sun

There customer service is awful! I was away for a week and the whole time did not have hot water let alone warm water (basic necessity). I tried to solve the issue while away and was not able to connect with the rep, despite many attempts. When I got back I emailed Air Transit (my fault) not knowing who to contact and that took 2 months to hear back, in the mean time I contacted Hola Sun who said I needed to contact the site I booked through. I contacted the site who said I needed to contact Hola Sun, I explained I had done that so they contacted them and the reply from Hola Sun to the site i booked with was RUDE and unprofessional! I go to Cuba a few times a year and I will NEVER book with them again. Some of the people I met who also didn't have hot water that week and travelled with other company's were moved to rooms that did have hot water. What an awful experience and what an awful tour company.

I booked with Hola Sun because they were the cheapest, I had never heard of them prior. I had an unfortunate incident where someone mistakenly took my luggage from the airport. I mentioned it to Hola Sun the next day and the rep, Lucy, went above and beyond. She called me during her off time to let me know my bag has been returned and arranged transportation for us saving us $100USD for a taxi. I’m so grateful for all the staff’s help. I booked two tours with them the following day and loved them both. Going forward I’ll book with Hola Sun when I can even if it’s not the cheapest. The staff make a huge difference. We booked holidays with Hola Sun in Cuba, Cayo Santa Maria. We left on December 23, 2022 (yes, the snow day in Ontario). The OWG airlines had no delays and to our big surprise served a warm in-flight meal! We had a great vacation with a great service. The rep at Grand Sirenis hotel, Mike, was super nice and helpful. We will definitely use Hola Sun/OWG in the future!

During our stays at LaHavana and Varadero, we dealt with Alfredo at two different occasions and we were fully satisfied with his professional approach. His patience, his quick and thorough understanding of our needs made our experience a very positive one. Alfredo is a great asset for HolàSun/Caribe sol.

Loved it! Compared to the big three Canadian vacation airlines out of Montreal, Hola Sun had the lowest price on flights to Cuba over the winter holidays and provided good services.

My December and January flights included a carry-on, checked baggage and MEAL at no extra cost. There was even a vegan option, and it was pretty tasty!

The flight crew was nice, and the OWG plane was roomier than a certain red airline I won't name.

If you need to bring a second checked bag, I recommend getting Select class. For only a few dollars more, you skip the line at the airport check-in counter (there's no online or self check-in), board the plane first, get your in-flight meal and drinks first, aget a water bottle and blanket, and have your luggage taken off the plane first.

Will definitely book again.

Hola Sun is not protecting the costumers, the hotel that they advertise and send us to it it was worst hotel ever, ( Grand Aston resort in Verodero) someone in the hotel pass my phone to hotel staff and The staff of hotel stole my phone and said I lost it, manger of hotel defended her and said hola sun will compensate 15% of your family vacation but Hola sun hold off me for 4 months and after said you don’t have any proof and you are not entitled for it, they are gang up and they ripe off the costumers, if same thing happens to you call police and lawyer as soon as possible, don’t let them to play with you.

Kind of a no frills but they do provide a lunch snack type meal both ways to/from varadero...I do like that they don't use the speaker to sell stuff every 1/2 hour like sunwing etc....so it's relatively quiet and cheap.....super relaxed too...imo
