Genuinely impressed, impeccably clean, well designed, comfy beds and again, very clean! Breakfast was great, staff very friendly. Usually get a fair bit of noise in hotels at this price point, but had absolutely no disturbances. Small thing, we were on the ground floor and there's no ice machine available. You have to go up to the second floor but that requires asking the front desk to buzz you into the elevator which was a bit of a hassle. Overall, great stay!

Room was great and my stay was nice. Breakfast was awesome.
but hotel management is greedy. They had only one housekeeping lady working for whole hotel.
I requested at 8.30 am for them to clean my room. When I came back at 5pm, my room was not cleaned by then. When I asked at reception desk, lady told me that I am on the schedule. This was never happened at any other hotel before ever.
I felt so bad for the housekeeping lady. Bad management and greedy employer. Now I know why they clean the rooms by requests only because they wanted to save money.

We had a wonderful stay in holiday inn express in Courtney BC. The staff and service both were impeccable. We were travelling with 4 adults, a 15 year old and a dog. They took care of our every need. Room was spacious, clean and bathrooms had really good quality supplies. Complementary breakfast was tasty and nutritious. They had sausages, eggs, bacon, fruits, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, yogurt and much more. Anna took such good care of our family, we are travelling with 2 seniors so they gave us complimentary late checkout. Thanks you Anna and holiday inn team to make our trip such a memorable and comfortable one.

Great small hotel. The rooms were new and very clean, sheets good quality and beds comfortable. The standard breakfast room was similarly very well maintained - clean, everything including the interesting pancake machine worked and there was even enough variety over three days to keep the kids happy. If I could improve one thing, it would be to allow the TV volume to go higher (it was fixed not to go above a relatively low setting) but then again, there were no noise issues in the hotel either so perhaps that is why. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The casino next door has a great pub style restaurant and children are allowed in to that part of the venue. It was an easy thirty minutes from the hotel to the local ski hill parking lot (which was the reason for our stay) and the kids enjoyed a dip in the pool at the end of the day. All in all a great stay.

This was a great stay. Clean, safe, super nice staff, easy parking and a cute little indoor pool. There was a pretty substantial free breakfast. My daughter liked the pancake making machine! (she says "it was cool to watch")

We had a lovely stay while visiting the Comox area. The room was great with thoughtful design choices you don’t normally see. Eg. Despite having lots of room to move around, there was a comfy chaise and 2 chairs so we could watch tv or hang out and chat. Luggage was out of the way on a built in bench under the large tv. There was a full length mirror inside the door with a shelf for keys, and a nice coat cupboard. Smart and “green” decision to not use mini wrapped sample toiletries but instead have full size neutral scented Dove products in builtin holders in large walkin shower and by sink. Elevator access via tapping your room key was nice security feature. Great blackout roller blind plus privacy sheer window treatment was much better than curtains that seldom work and are dust and odour magnets. Bed was large and comfy and pillows weren’t too thick which is what we find everywhere else, so we woke up refreshed and not achy. Included breakfast was vegan friendly for me with beans, roast potatoes, porridge with optional toppings, and oat milk. Hubby enjoyed the cinnamon buns, eggs & bacon and had fun with pancake machine. Lovely big travel cups and lids to take away a tea or coffee for the road and to-go bags available for fruit or a muffin if you need to dash. Didn’t get to use fitness room but appreciate that they had one. Tasteful decor and comfy furniture throughout building with some chairs I would love to have in my home.

Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. Cleanliness needs improvement, switches in bathroom were stained with something brown, toilets had mold/some type of growth on it. Noises can be heard from next door and above my room due to the wooden structure and framing of the building, can be as small as heels thumping when walking across the floor to children jumping on the floor. When making a noise complaint, was ignored. However, ending on a good note, rooms have a good view up on the third and fourth floors.

Honestly after driving across the country for sa relocation move, this hotel was a great option to stay at- The views (mountain views) are incredible, and it’s such a convenient location. The view of the mountains was what wowed me the first time I stayed here, and again when we finally moved.

Every staff member is friendly and helpful, and very understanding… even if you have a dog and toddler with you and are overwhelmed with a new place!

From the front desk, to housekeeping attendants to the breakfast staff and maintenance, it’s been great- very helpful, very kind very knowledgeable of the area.

The rooms are spacious, we’ve stayed in a double queen and a king suite with a sofa bed- the sofa beds are comfy, too! The rooms are very well cleaned- even the Keurig machines are well maintained and clean.
