The hotel was great. This was the fourth place we stayed over the Christmas holiday and I’d say it was almost the best. The place needs a little maintenance here and there but very clean, the breakfast was great, the beds and linens were soft compared to hotel stays in the previous days, the staff all looked happy and all said good morning and hi and I appreciate that! The water in the main pool wasn’t too cold and there were chairs around to sit and clean towels available. I would 100% stay here again. I also found the hotel very quiet.

My family and I checked into this hotel on September 21, 2024, and were assigned room 417. Upon arrival, we discovered that the toilet was broken and clogged. With four of us in the room, this was quite an inconvenience, so we went to the front desk hoping for assistance.

We encountered a very rude receptionist named Sania. She showed no concern or apology for our situation. Instead, she said she will give us a plunger and told us to handle it ourselves. When I asked if someone could help us, she responded, “Why, haven’t you ever used a plunger before?” This was the worst customer service experience we've ever had. It was our first time having to deal with such an issue in a hotel.

The overall service and treatment we received were disappointing, and we will not be returning to this hotel or recommending it to anyone. To make matters worse, we later learned from another receptionist that room 417 had received multiple complaints, yet they still assigned it to us.

This experience truly ruined our stay.

Stayed with Family & pets , rooms were clean , Kids had fun at the pool . Good breakfast . No complaints . If you can passing by Lloydminister & travelling with your fur babies then would recommend this place .

I am currently staying in this hotel, as I type this. I booked 2 rooms for a work trip several weeks ago coming from Saskatoon, staying Sunday to Wednesday. Checked in last night at 9:45pm. Get to my room to find a clean and spacious room, which is great, but it felt empty. The room used to have 2 beds I think, but now just 1. No big deal, just a lot of empty space. Also, no TV, no pictures on the walls. Find out my coworker has no TV and NO BLINDS in his room! The front desk tells us they are very full and don't normally rent rooms like this when we ask questions about the TVs and missing curtains. When asked about rectifying the situation we were told that we already got a good rate (our company has a corporate rate in place with this hotel) and were offered a coupon we could use in the next month when we come back for 50% off or give it to a friend! Unacceptable in my opinion, maybe I'm wrong, but they should either tell you this is what you are getting when you book or make sure their rooms are what they say they are on their website. The continental breakfast included hash browns, back bacon, frozen egg patties and your choice of white bread or English muffin, OJ and apple juice. So we went to Tim's in the parking lot instead. At 9:30pm this evening I'm sitting in my bed watching a show on my phone when housekeeping showed up and said my room was scheduled to be cleaned now. I was super confused and she said: 'Don't you want your room cleaned?' Uhm no thank you, it's 930pm and I'm in bed. So she left and said to let the front desk know if I wanted it cleaned. What in the world kind of hotel am I at I will say the hot tub and pool area are nice and clean and good temps, but the rest of this place is just sub par. It's not overly quiet in the rooms and you can hear toilets flushing and people walking around very easily. Definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel from this experience. All I can say is at least I'm not personally out the money for the room, because work paid for it but I can be certain we won't be booking here again. Especially since no one made an effort to rectify the situation after we addressed it both at check-in and this morning.....

I am not from town, but managed to get a flat tire. They listened to me and got me a room right away. They even emailed my mom to ask when I would be checking in. I got to the hotel and everything was clean and amazing. I got a text from the front desk asking how my stay was so far. I felt so cared for and protected being so far from home. I am in my early 20’s, so it was comforting to know I was safe. If I ever need a hotel in Lloyd again, I will definitely go here.

I always like Home Inn Hotels. But when we arrived at Lloydminster Hotel, lots of people were waiting for rooms because they were not ready, but the way we arrived after 4 pm. We waited 1.5 hours. Question to the owner, why you didn't call more staff to make those rooms ready?
The elevator was out of service all 4 days of our stay. Some older fellows strangle with their luggage on the stairs.
I still will recommend Home Inn Hotels, but some things should be done better in the future.

Great hotel and amazing service. Sonia at the front desk was very helpful, great problem solving skills. We had a great time there. There was quite a choice of food for breakfast. Very clean room. Kids had a blast at their pool. Their best part was the waterslide.

There were bed bug sheddings at the headboard between the mattress and the box spring. As well on the other queen bed there was blood stains. Your employee confirmed with me that it was bug sheddings.
I really hope you are getting this taken care of appropriately.

We checked into our room and immediately upon inspection noticed there were bed bugs.
A staff member checked it out and confirmed there were.
I did not have any issue with the staff, they refunded my money without question and allowed me to book somewhere else.
I just hope they won’t offer this room to anyone else before having it taken care of as it is a very busy weekend in Lloydminster.
