Accueil froid par une dame ne sachant pas du tout que l'on avait une réservation. Chambre très confortable. Machine à café, frigo. Totalement au centre ville pour accéder aux commodités à pied. Je recommande.

I'd be doing other travellers a disservice if I gave the City Centre Motel a 5. I'd be doing City Centre Motel a disservice if I gave them a 3.
The people working there are friendly and courteous. The location is the best. The price is crazy low. The bedding was clean, the sink was clean, the tub was clean, the toilet was clean and the floor was clean. What might put some people off is that the owner/landlord doesn't know how to use a paint brush and/or a caulking gun. The place is clean... it just doesn't look clean.
Overall, though, we enjoyed the place. It was quiet and it didn't smell. Cheap, quiet, clean and not stinky are four criteria that you don't often find together in a motel in this price range.
[We were in one of the older rooms. There is a newer section, but I have no idea about their condition. This might be the reason for the discrepancy in my experience and others who have reviewed the City Centre Motel. Still, a paint brush and proper caulking is needed.]

Great place to stay for a great price as well!! Located right in the heart of Hope, BC. I just stayed there this passed weekend with my wife and we were very pleased by the renovated room, beautiful barn door on the bathroom and a massive I think 70 inch TV maybe even bigger. Only thing was if we didn't notice before we could've hit the TV with door because the TV is to close to the door. But all in all an amazing stay. Great friendly staff as well, helped with whatever we needed. Will definitely stay again.

Non fatevi ingannare dall'esterno. Le camere sono MOLTO pulite e spaziose (apparentemente appena rinnovate Luglio 2025).
Personale gentilissimo e disponibile.
Sushi è un ottimo padrone di casa 🙂
A pochi metri ci sono supermercati e tanti ristoranti.

Don't be put off by the exterior! The rooms, including bathrooms, have been refinished and updated in the last year - clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. I had a large family reunion turned into a wedding and the communication with the staff re changing needs was met with 'no problem'. They couldn't have been more friendly, going out of their way to help you - even offering a task light from their home so I could get my makeup done... If I'm ever back in Hope to stay - that's where I'll be.
