If you stay here please do no let any staff enter your room during your stay unless you are there to supervise.
Upon gathering our stuff to check out I noticed that an item I had purchased at the farmers market had gone missing. The manager of the day claimed he was the one to clean my room and that he didn't touch my item. The problem remains that my item IS MISSING. I left with the worst impression.

I was a little worried about some of the other reviews but the hotel ended up being great for the price. Our room was clean and seemed to be newly renovated. The pool, slide and hot tub were a lot of fun. Finally the breakfast offered a surprisingly good variety.

I'm always skeptical about trying new hotels being a regular at Coast, Holiday Inn and Best Western over the years. But pricing at these hotels has been jacked up now that June is upon us. Kanata is a new hotel to me and the pricing was very reasonable. The building is older and has been very nicely updated. The room I was in was very roomy and both beds are probably the most comfortable I've been in other than my own. All staff are very friendly and Leah in the kitchen area seems to be busy working all over the main floor area and does not seem to stop. Brandon checked me in last night and the process was smooth and quick. To my surprise, no hold on my credit card. Getting money access back after leaving any hotel takes 7 to 10 days and that irritates the hell out of me. Making that matter worse is why there is a hold on my credit card when I have paid the room for both days. There is typically nothing in the room to warrant the hold so it tells me that I am not trustworthy and look like either a partyer or I'm going to steal something that will require a charge to my credit card. Nope, not here. All-in-all, I am very satisfied with my two night stay, the room rate and the customer service. Breakfast food was very good compared to other hotel free breakfasts which my wife won't typically eat. I would agree but this breakfast was very good - bacon was perfect as were the eggs and sausage patties. We'll be back!

The Kanata hotel has been great for my family, they were extremely accommodating. Cindy and her family were a pleasure to deal with, kind, friendly, excellent service.
The rooms were clean, and the housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly.
The hotel also has an indoor gym and laundry room which made it convenient for families.
The pool is great, not huge but has a couple different water slides that we enjoyed on the rainy days of the trip.
Overall I give this hotel a 5 star rating. Close to all amenities, free continental breakfast, extremely accommodating, and well priced compared to other hotels in the area. Keep it up Kanata!

We have had a great experience at this hotel. Beginning with the check in Alicia was very welcoming and professional. We also had the pleasure of speaking with Tanner, his customer service skills are above and beyond. He is very enthusiastic and puts a smile on your face. His happy attitude is infectious. Sue, thanks to you too. We will be back again. Although this post is about the customer service being great, I need to mention the room was great as well. It was our first time so we didn't know what to expect.

Very friendly staff, room was spacious, clean and I definitely enjoyed my space. Highlight was being told housekeeping was by request only to find out they'd given the room a quick tidy the next day.

Downside was a lack of clear signage on the highway indicating this was my hotel. I understand they are transitioning the hotel, but not being 100% sure that's where I was going was not the best first impression. Thankfully, the staff, room and amenities all more than made up for that.

My husband and I stayed with Kanata August 2020. We had such a wonderful experience with this hotel. The customer service and treatment from every single staff member was outstanding! The hotel knew our trip to Kelowna was in lieu of our trip to Europe that was cancelled due to COVID earlier in the year; and they upgraded our room to deluxe absolutely free and provided a free bottle of wine, due to our circumstances. My husband and I were over the moon with their kindness and generosity. The room was clean and very comfortable, great hot breakfast, and excellent room service. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be taken care of in any way on their vacation/stay.
