My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the beer room.|I received the door code the day before and had no issue getting in at check-in time.|The Beer room is pretty cool with lots to look at. However, we found it a bit small, especially the bathroom. My husband had to sit sideways on the toilet due to lack of space.|The upstairs bedroom area was a good size with 2 closets. The queen size bed was extremely high off the ground. It's a bit difficult getting in and out. The online description of our room stated there was a balcony, there wasn't.|I think their priority is design over functionality. |There is no front desk, so you text them with questions or issues. We waited 30 minutes for an answer to get the code to borrow a beach cart. The door was unlocked, so we just took one and texted them again to let them know. |We used the outdoor patio several times and enjoyed it. It's a good location since you are walking distance to restaurants and the beach.|We had the opportunity to meet the owner Phil, during our stay. A very nice man.|If we go back, I would want a different room with a larger bathroom. |

We stayed in the Garden Room for 3 nights and it was awesome. The room was spotless, the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in, definitely worth tipping the cleaners! The size was perfect for two of us and a 5 year old, and had everything we needed and more. They were really clever with the placement of everything, there was so much storage space, and decorated so beautifully. It was also sound proofed very well. The location in Crystal Beach was so nice, perfect for walking around and everything you need is within walking distance, we walked to the beach every day. We will definitely be staying here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Philco. The location is perfect, just a 7-minute walk to the beach. The hotel is impeccably clean, with cozy beds and beautifully designed decor that adds to the charm. However, if you're traveling with kids, be mindful of the room selection. We stayed in the 'Beer' room, which isn't very child-friendly. The only downside was the bathroom sink, which was too small and made it difficult to wash your face. Despite this, we had a great time and definitely plan to return next year!

Philco is a hidden gem, we stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Check in process is seamless, rooms are decorated so well. Very clean and safe.

We stayed in the "beer room" there was a token for a free drink across the street at the South Coast Cookhouse where we met the owner of the hotel. Very nice lady who made sure we had a great experience. Lots of great food in the area as well, all walkable. Highly recommend a weekend in Crystal Beach at the Philco.

We took a mini family vacation to Crystal Beach due to a recommendation from a friend that lives near by. I had never heard of this town but when I found this hotel I knew it was a place I needed to visit. Hotel Philco was better than we ever expected. The themed rooms are adorable - it was so hard to choose which room we wanted. We ended up with the Crystal Beach Park room and it was perfect! My son absolutely loved all the details, especially the bumper car in the bedroom! My husband loved all the unique pieces and history in our room. I loved having the kitchenette so we could eat meals in our room! An extra perk were the free drink coupons for the bar across the street. They were delicious and the food was great. We left Crystal Beach feeling very relaxed and planning which room we will stay in next time! Thank you for our amazing visit! We will be back!

This hotel is a 10/10 ! The photos online are exactly what you get when you stay here. We stayed in the tropical room and it was perfect! The decorations are so cute and the space is huge and functional! The room was exceptionally clean and smells wonderful. The beds are super comfortable and the AC works great! The bathroom is amazing with a beautiful shower, mirror with adjustable lighting, and a heated towel rack! The kitchen is huge and well stocked with everything you would need . The room code system works awesome and the owners are super responsive and helpful. The hotel is in walking distance to the beach and many great places to shop and eat ! I highly recommend you choosing to stay here ! We plan on making it a yearly trip !

This was our third time staying. We absolutely love coming here. It's our home away from home. We have stayed in the Golf, Cabin and Tropical room. Each room is decorated nicely.
Short walking distance to the beach and cute shops. We are already looking to book our fourth stay!

Hi we recently stayed in the cabin room very cozy for a couple. The only thing I have to mention on here is a second mirror would have been nice as two of us needed to get ready for a wedding and had to wait for each other on a mirror? One upstairs or main floor would be nice. Also main floor air did not work at full capacity and it was a hot weekend this past weekend. All in all a good stay.
