My husband and I had a wonderful stay and have already booked our next visit. The rooms were super clean and comfy. Having a kitchen was really helpful. I appreciated how modern everything was and lots of thoughtful little details. The sleeper sofa was pretty comfy. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub and sauna as well. Loved being able to walk right downstairs to the cafe to get the best croissants I’ve had in a long time. The service was amazing and everyone really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We get that Magog is expensive. But for expensive, you expect quality. That’s not what you get here.|The list is long, so get ready.| 1. It’s an apartment building used as a hotel, so suites can be large. But our two-bedroom unit had no door on the master bedroom - or wall, for that matter. Just glass. So going to bed meant getting undressed in full view of everyone in the apartment. And no way to block the light from the rest of the unit.|2. The general amenities. But no dish soap for the sink, no detergent for the dish washer. We had to leave all the dirty dishes for the cleaning staff. |3. No parking. Oh, there is some underground parking, but it was fully booked when we booked. And street parking? Forget it. Thursday night and every single spot was taken, on the entire length of the Main Street, and it’s time metered anyway with maximum times. So get up at midnight and again at 4:00 a.m. to run down to the street and put more money in. We were directed to a “free” lot down the street, which turned out to be a private lot for a restaurant. |4. Did I mention the bathroom sink leaked? All over the bathroom floor. Had to use all the towels - the ones not already soaked from being under the sink - to soak up the floor, and after that it was brush the teeth, wash the hands and face in the kitchen sink.|All this for about $550 a night. New York City prices.

Because it’s a Condo style/ Hotel, our rental was more spacious than most regular hotel rooms. It was modern and very clean. Perfectly situated in heart of Magog with walking distance to restaurants, shops, Marina and beach.
Would definitely go back.

We had the pleasure of recently staying at the Quartier des Marinas hotel in a second floor luxury studio and was truly amazed at the overall experience. The studio itself was very spacious for 2 adults and an adolescent. The highlight for someone travelling long distances was the full kitchen and laundry equipment in the unit which was a welcomed sight. The pictures are exactly what you get and the staff goes out of their way to ensure your comfort. This hotel exudes luxury and is well situated amongst the heart of the action and near many restaurants. Once in the hotel you are submerged in a spa and zen environment with the hotel paying close attention to the little details like motion lighting on every floor and energy saving measures without taking away from its charm and luxury. Next time you are in Magog,QC and want to pamper yourself or simply stay in a hotel that takes care of every little detail and request you may have, look no further.

We spent six nights at Quarter Des Marinas Hotel-Experience for February school vacation and had a very enjoyable stay. We stayed in room 301 overlooking main street||The hotel is centrally located in downtown Magog, and it was easy to walk to the grocery store and many restaurants and shops. The hotel is very new, and our room was very nice with many amenities including a full kitchen, and a full-sized washer and dryer in the bathroom. This was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable, and I did not hear too much outside noise other than once I heard the rumble of the train. There are plush robes in each room. These were nice for the walk up to hot tub. The hotel is run a bit like a time-share hotel in that it’s not full service like you’d get at a chain. They will service your room if you ask, so that’s what we did a few times. Other than that, we placed our trash and recycling outside our door, and it as picked up. Knowing we had a full kitchen and washer and dryer we brought stuff with us. But the convivence of the supermarket was great. We also loved the bakery – café located off the lobby area. || There are 2 hot tubs on the roof as well as a dry sauna. We used every night after skiing all day. One hot tub was a not as warm as I’d liked but it appeared to be adjusted by the end of our stay. The sauna was nice. You have to ask to have it turned on, so you call, and they will come and turn it on. It’s on a timer for 1 hour.|| The garage under the hotel is heated and contains EV chargers. This was great for us since we drive an EV. The charging rates were very reasonable and there was never a charger not available. There is outside parking too and chargers were located there as well. As an EV owner we were impressed with the charging availably in Magog and the surrounding area including the ski resorts we visited. ||All in all this was a great stay for us for our visit to the Eastern Townships to ski.

Great room! Super clean. Comfortable pillows. Excellent shower. Gym is well appointed too! Lots of shops to peruse.

The only issue is we had our window cracked and the train rolls thru in middle of night. Scared me to death. Ha! So keep windows closed at night.

I stayed here for 3 days in a 1 bedroom studio and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is very spacious and the rooms are very well appointed with everything you need for a stay. High quality bedding, great pillows, and tempur pedic mattress. I was on the lake side, and there is a train track right below.. it is noticeable, but not really a big deal. In the evening the staff seems to be pretty lean.. you are better to call than try and find someone if you need something. Lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. My only suggestion would be to have some way for guests to purchase a bottle of water or beverage, or snack on site.. even a vending machine would at least allow you to get something without having to leave the hotel.

If you enjoy the Airbnb experience then you might enjoy this boutique hotel, which I would consider to be somewhere in between a hotel and an apartment rental. On the plus side the rooms are enormous, essentially a large studio/one bedroom apartment. However, contrary to other reviews, my experience with service fell short. We arrived early knowing the room might not be ready, but we were not able to check in, store bags, or park our car at the hotel, and the girl at the desk was not friendly or helpful. The were lots of other little issues that lead me to consider this more like a rental unit than a hotel. If that works for you great, but I prefer a more full service experience.
