Attention, le nom de l'établissement laisse à penser que l'on a un chambre avec vue, ce qui n'est pas le cas! La "view" n'est que dans le nom de la rue !||Ceci-dit les chambres sont dans une villa luxueuse, décorée avec beaucoup de goût (il faut toutefois aimer le style rococo).||Très spacieuses, elles sont meublées dans le même style, mention spéciale pour la salle de bains, remarquable.||Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de climatisation (juste un ventilateur) et que les rideaux manquent d'opacité.||Très bon petit déjeuner.

We were surprised when we drove up that the B&B was in the middle of an ordinary suburban tract. But the house itself is very nice, and our rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable. There is a back porch with lounge chairs, a gazebo in the back lawn, and if you cross the back yard you are right at the pathway along the Humber River, which you can walk in either direction. Our host, Barbara, was very friendly and accommodating, and made us feel right at home. There are two comfortable living rooms and two breakfast rooms. Breakfast was plentiful, and Barbara's homemade jams were delicious. We would have preferred bacon or sausage with our eggs and toast, but I guess that fried bologna is a regional specialty. It was a lovely place to stay.

Barb met us when we arrived, and showed us to our room. The room was large, clean and well appointed. The property is a 5min drive from downtown and close to everything we needed (food). Barb's breakfasts were outstanding with a good selection of homemade jams. As is the way at a good B&B, the morning table banter was lively and informative as we shared stories with other travellers. Thanks to Barb for creating a lovely breakfast environment.

Quick phone call to Barbera and we had accommodations. The B&B is large and in a good spot to explore the area. Barbera our host was very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms well appointed and lots of room. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast of ham & eggs together with homemade jams went a long way for the day.|Excellent stop.

This BnB was easy to find. We got in late (10:30 pm) but that was no problem. Our bedroom was very clean and spacious. The mattress was comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast room was nicely appointed. The food however was average.

This is the second time staying at this luxurious B and B. We absolutely loved it. The hosts are second to none and the welcome is like no other. They treat you like family. |The breakfast is homemade and delicious. The rooms are sparkling clean and well appointed. You leave there full and happy.

I don't often post to Trip Advisor anymore, but I often think about this BnB and how it's one of the worst I've experienced in terms of service. It wasn't my first choice as its location is not ideal, but it was one of the only places with rooms available. My flight came in very late (about 2 AM), followed by an hour long wait for a taxi, so as a result I was so exhausted I slept in until 9:30 AM even though my phone alarm was going off. Panicked, I quickly dressed to see if I could still grab some leftovers from breakfast. Nope, breakfast is done at 9 AM, full stop. No coffee (no coffee maker in the room either btw), no cold cereal, no pastries, nothing. I explained that my flight came in very late and asked if I could keep the room until 11 AM (past the 10 AM check-out time). No, not possible, no negotiations. Queue frantic scrambling as I race downstairs to the basement to shower and pack my belongings. At check-out I mentioned that it would be nice to have an alarm clock in the room so that I could have set 2 alarms and hopefully wouldn't have slept through both of them. Received the response that "everyone uses their phone anyway", zero sympathy even though an alarm clock is a basic item to expect in a room. I understand that you're running a business, but at the very least the host could have been somewhat sympathetic. Instead it was full payment and out the door at exactly 10 AM. Welcome to Newfoundland.

Exceptionally clean. Quiet and beautiful. The river runs along the end of the property. A trail runs along the river, a favorite with the locals. A gazebo in the backyard. Each room is tastefully decorated and welcoming. The owners are so very friendly. The most delicious breakfast on the west coast.
