Beautiful trails to walk mornings and evenings. Great views of trees and ponds with turtles of you are lucky to spot. It gets colder as you enter the dense trails, good to carry a jacket or sweater even in spring and autumn! Kids have a sand play area and restrooms if needed. Few parking spots in the entry, might have to wait.

Kid friendly, picnic friendly. This trail is well marked and well maintained! Large grassy areas for play and picnic. For those looking for a hike the park has 6 easy trails. The marks are easy to find and follow. The trails are very well maintained! Also, the red trail is paved and wheelchair accessible. The others vary from gravel to dirt. Regular shoes can do well on all these trails but prefer to use hiking shoes for the dirt only trails. The trail around the lake had plaques telling the story of a turtle and its community! It's a great way to get children excited about finding the next piece of the story on the trail.
