Went to buy Metamucil 1.04kg and was charged over$60. Same item at Walmart for $35. I can understand a few dollars difference but this is Highway robbery.

Not just your average pharmacy. They bring in beautiful seasonal items. Lots of pretty outdoor ornaments.
The staff are fantastic. I was having issues with my face, and one of the staff was kind enough to hook me up with samples of one of the moisturizers. It ls now my go to brand. 10/10 service

This pharmacy and it’s staff are tremendous and consistent which is key in any business. In the last couple of years I’ve had to contend with new medical problems I’ve never faced before and the pharmacist’s at this store have been extremely helpful with knowledge and ideas, and kindness I count myself lucky to have found them, as I’ve had some bad ones in the past. This pharmacy has turned into our family pharmacy and deserves the 5 stars I gave them.

What wonderful service. I was visiting from out of town and having much difficulty have a prescription transferred. Diane at rhe pharmacy took care of everything for me and did so very quickly and was very empathetic to my difficulties. I am so pleased with the service I recieved and with the kindness I received it. Thank you so much Diane and IDA pharmacy for making my day so much easier.

All the staff are helpful. They go out of their way when you ask for help. The pharmacists are exceptionally busy. They are keeping things going with a smile during all of this. Respect for all that work here. Knowledge based inform you what you should or should not take meds together. They have earned my trust!

My wife and I were 'snowbirds' for 8 years with Vancouver Island becoming our Canadian destination in 2009 for the summers. The first few years we dealt with a chain pharmacy in Duncan. Having just retired this outlet had a lot of supplies, BUT their was no personal service or attempt to use my health benefit plans to save me any money. Yes, my ignorance of all plan details, probably helped cost me hundreds of dollars for my supply of six months prescriptions --- no concern or suggestions from the chain pharmacy. None!! We were ASTONISHED with the individual attention to detail, including costs to us, plus our records for vaccinations from our local I.D.A. at 138 South Shore Rd., Lake Cowichan. The people here were always very pleasant, helpful, and professional. Any delays with filling prescription quantities were of "minor" inconvenience, and all handled as promised. We will be moving to Duncan, and will seek the recommendations of the staff at this pharmacy. We intend to be a customer of the recommended pharmacy.
