Nous y avons dormi une nuit. Ce fut un régal. L hôtesse est si généreuse. Le BB est un musee à lui seul. La décoration est fabuleuse .||Qualité des chambres haut de gamme. On s h est senti très bien.||Une étape à prévoir dans le circuit même si Black Diamond ne présente je peu d intérêt. ||Rien que pour l hôtesse il faut y aller

Une semaine très plaisante dans cette maisonnette originale... un petit musée local dans son genre..||Accueil très chaleureux de l'hôtesse ( Bev) qui se met en 4 pour faire des petits déjeuners , pas si petits, en fait, très copieux... on peut partir en rando sans problème, on est calé pour la journée.|| C'est agréable de pouvoir aller "downtown " à pieds, de ne pas avoir à prendre la voiture pour faire un tour dans la petite ville.||Bev est serviable et gentille ...

I recently stayed at Idle Spurs for two nights. The owner, Bev, was a super hostess and made sure we were comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding! She made us truly welcome and even made us supper when we dragged in after a long day of training. The house is beautiful with eclectic decor. There was even a friendly cat and a new puppy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

Bev was an excellent hostess! She is a great cook! I stayed there for two nights and had a good time! My room was very spacious and one of the largest beds, I've ever slept! Apart from the dining room, there is also the sitting area with a fireplace that's great to enjoy a beverage!

I was in Black Diamond for work and stayed here for a week. It was fantastic. I came home every day to a cozy wood fireplace and a comfy room. The decor is wonderful, with all kinds of great art and curios to discover. Also, the house is IMMACULATE. Clean and everything is in perfect order. As a host, Bev is helpful, welcoming, and ready to help you out however she can. Also, her breakfasts are amazing! Fresh fruit, omelettes, yummy toast, and more--a great way to start a day. I will definitely be returning.

Bev is an incredible hostess, very welcoming and most helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The house is quiet, the decor eclectic. Lots of things to look at, admire, and wonder at. I would definitely stay here again.

We had stayed with Bev once before and loved the place. We rebooked, sent $760 and unfortunately had to cancel due to covid with over 72 hours notice. Bev initially agreed to refund the full amount by the weekend, reneged and counter offered with $650 due to our cancellation. We agreed out of good faith. Bev then decided to not refund us any of our money.
She is a poor business owner and untrustworthy. I highly suggest not participating in any financial transactions with Bev

We rented a room trough booking.com for two nights but when we arrived there was nobody to wish us a welcome so we left the house after about 15 minutes trying to find another hotel for the night. We hope that other tourists/guest will not have the same bad experience when they arrive. It might be a good place to stay but we don’t know even if we paid for the two nights. So be sure to have an agreement of your arrival. We can’t recommend a stay there.||We afterwards took mail contact when we arrived at the hotel we found in Okotoks and had a few mail contacts where we misunderstood each other because we were thinking Europe clock time......and not Canadian.||There might be some good ratings but we can’t give one.
