I stayed in the Queen Room upstairs for two nights in August 2024. The owners are wonderful hosts. The room and private bath were clean, quiet, and nicely appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast that they prepared each morning was beautifully presented and delicious. I enjoyed talking with the owners and they gave great suggestions for places to see in the area. I found the location to be perfect; it was just a few blocks from the main part of town, but on a quiet street. It was easy to walk around the attractive historic neighborhood that surrounded the bed and breakfast. I had a wonderful stay at the Island Home Bed and Breakfast!

You are truly welcomed and greeted by Sharon and Mike. This was the third stay for my wife and I, and the first for our granddaughter. The rooms are air condition and with great windows to enjoy the breeze. Rooms are exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds, soft pillows, and excellent decor. We stayed, in the larger King Room, for seven days. Every breakfast is presented with a different place setting and a different menu of scrumptious and amazing food. Summerside is a good home base for day trips across the Island. The Confederation Bridge is in the middle, between Summerside and Charlottetown.

This was our 4th stay at Island Home in Summerside and as always it was excellent! The hosts Sharon and Mike are the best and so knowledgeable about the area. The B&B is located within walking distance to the boardwalk. Inside the B&B is spotless and the outside there is great seating area to relax and read a book. Did I mention the breakfast each morning? Wow, the hosts put on a feast and you won’t leave the table hungry. Can’t wait until summer 2025 as we will return for our 5th stay.

One of the best, if not the best, B&B we have ever stayed at. Our hosts went beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Room with balcony was wonderful and the breakfast superb! Highly recommend.|Sharon and Mike love what they are doing and it shows. They were helpful and embody hospitality.

Incredible place to stay. Rooms are immaculate and interesting with everything you would ever need. The most incredible breakfast that can keep you going all day and evening treats outside your room. Sharon and Mike are lovely as hosts and full of information about places to see and activities to do!

We had the best time at the Island Home B&B. Sharon and Mike made us feel right at home and took care of everything. We had delicious breakfasts, great recommendations on sights to see, and fun hanging out. I couldn't recommend this bed and breakfast more highly!

We stayed at this B&B and it was an excellent choice for us. The location is central to town and everything is within walking distance. There are many restaurants and walking paths nearby.|The most important feature of the inn are the owners, Sharon and Mike. They have thought of every fine detail and the pride of their home is evident. There is plenty of parking, the room was very large with lots of room for luggage. The linens and towels were of good quality and plentiful. The breakfasts were outstanding. Everyday was a new theme…with plates, linens and mugs to match. Coffee and OJ are served, breads and yogurt are available on the sideboard, food is plated and served, a different offering each day. The breakfasts are so hearty that we skipped lunch both days.|Their excellent reviews are a true testament for an outstanding stay. Do not hesitate to book.
