We had an incredible time on this fishing charter! We caught 6 fish and had so many laughs along the way — Kevin was not only knowledgeable and professional, but also absolutely hilarious. What really stood out was how accommodating he was with our 7-week-old baby. He had the proper infant life jacket ready and made us feel completely at ease. It was such a memorable and family-friendly experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and successful day on the water!

Kevin is an excellent guide and showed tons of patience for us newbies. He has all of the advanced gear on his boat, showed/explained everything clearly, and repeated the details when we needed him to. He took us to multiple locations on our half-day trip because the weather and ocean conditions were not being very cooperative. The cabin of his boat provides shelter from the worst of the weather and has a good heater to help warm up when needed. Two raw rookies fishing, eight fish caught, and two retained to take home for the BBQ!

I would recommend Island Life Fishing Charters without hesitation. Thank you for the great experience Kevin!

We had another wonderful day fishing with Kevin! We met him last fall and came back this summer ,with family, to do more fishing. Kevin is an exceptional guide (we all caught our chinook limit, some crab and a lingcod) - yet what stands out about him more is who he is. This was probably the best guided fishing excursion ever for me for many reasons. Firstly the boat was purpose-built for fishing with plenty of covered seating and even the ability to fish whilst being seated which was very convenient for myself having some mobility problems. Secondly, Kevin, the guide and owner of the enterprise was extremely helpful in every way; he managed the rods and reels extremely well which was particularly important as two of our party had never fished with single action reels. Finally, Kevin had a great understanding of the appropriate fishing locations and methods resulting in a very successful catch for the day. Thank you, Kevin.

This is our second time out on a fishing trip with Kevin (he was so great last summer that we brought my parents on their trip from the UK to the area especially to go again). He is super knowledgeable, accommodates his guests fantastically, his boat is beautiful and he is just an all out great guy. We had a great trip with Kevin, who made the whole experience easy and relaxing! We were lucky with our timing, a day after the catch limits increased for Coho and Chinook and we caught more salmon than we know what to do with! Will definitely be coming back next September for another trip with Kevin.

Fishing with Kevin for two days was a great experience. Not only did he guide us to our limit both days, but he also made the time fly by with lots of laughs and good conversation. He was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for someone who knows their stuff and is a lot of fun, Kevin’s your guy
