I’ve received great help from Roxanne and Jay, both are very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. They have made business banking at island savings better.

Some of the extra charges to my account, and especially that $1.25 etransfer charge, really seem excessive.
In all, I’m happy I have people I can ask if I need clarification.

Worst experience in a financial institution I’ve ever dealt with including manager. Made an appt for a savings, chequing and business acct, was to talk to a financial advisor and get everything set up for my business. Long story short, I only got an appt with an advisor to open personal services. They told me if I wasn’t happy with them I should leave and find another bank (who does this). This is a high profile account they just walked out the door without any effort to work for my business, yes they had to do work.
If I can’t put $150k into a bank with ease and they want the business, move to the next one!!
Imo not worth your time and they won’t help you grow your money
Ps I had to put a star, I wouldn’t have if there was the option!!!!

Sap at the Lake Cowichan location listened to my needs, spent time considering which options would be most helpful, helped me understand the pros and cons of each option, and secured the best financial option for my situation. The experience felt more like having a conversation with a good friend that you trust, more than it did a client talking to a stranger. I felt heard; I felt appreciated; I felt respected; and I left reminded that my financial dealings with Island Savings has been a joy from day one.
