Nous avons été charmé par l'hospitalité de Patricia et son établissement. À notre arrivé, elle a pris le temps de nous faire visiter son Bed and Breakfast. Ce fut un retour dans le passé avec des photos de sa famille qui a immigré d'Irlande. Un voyage dans le temps incroyable. Un gros merci Patricia d'avoir partagé une partie de ta vie avec nous.

What a treat to be able to enjoy a traditional bed and breakfast while also being able to have an accessible room! My Dad is an amputee and requires a wheelchair accessible room and amenities. Most Bed & Breakfasts are all upstairs so this was such a gem to find! My parents love staying here! A clean and well kept property. The owner is an absolute sweetheart with a love of history and connection. We will definitely stay here every time we are in Clarenville. So reasonably priced and a delicious hot breakfast. Thank you Pat for the wonderful stay!

A true traditional bed and breakfast in every sense. Patricia is so kind and thoughtful in dealing with her guests. Her hospitality knows no bounds as she ensures everyone is comfortable. |The home is very well kept and has so many interesting mementos from Newfoundland history. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Patricia and would love to return soon for a longer visit.

Patricia is a wonderful host and such an easy, interesting person to talk to. I stayed 4 nights and would definitely stay again (and hope to next year). The rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The B&B is walking distance to a laundromat and shopping. Having use of the kitchen to prepare lunch and /or supper is a great bonus.
Staying at Islandview is like staying with a family member.

I stayed 4 nights and plan on staying here during future visits to Newfoundland. Having use of the kitchen to prepare lunch and/or supper is a great bonus. Laundromat and stores are a short walk from the B&B.

If you want a real Canadian experience, come here! Patricia is kind, generous, funny and an amazing baker. Breakfast is made to order and her sticky buns are to die for. Place is clean and well maintained. There is a nice gazebo overlooking the ocean and Random island. Access to an equipped kitchen and the location is great. It's off the main road like most places, so it can get a bit noisy with cars constantly driving by, but for the price, this place is a steal. I will stay here again if I'm back. Highly recommended.

Patricia was an excellent hostess. From the moment of our arrival she came out to greet us, showed us our room and the whole house. She even baked some sticky buns and had them ready for us. The next morning she sat down with us during a delicious breakfast and told us stories of her childhood and living in NL. We learnt a lot about the culture and had a great time.
I would definitely recommend staying here!
