J’ai passé un très beau séjour dans un chalet au bord d’un lac. Les propriétaires étaient super gentils et toujours disponibles pour répondre à mes messages. Ils ont tout fait pour rendre l’expérience agréable, ce qui a vraiment ajouté une touche spéciale à mon séjour. C’était l’endroit idéal pour se reposer et profiter du calme de la nature.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin on Mississippi Lake. The views are stunning, especially at sunset. The cabin is nicely decorated and set up with everything you need including coffee for the morning and extra toilettries in the bathroom in case you forgot something. The beds were also extremely comfortable which was a nice suprise!

Very nice and cozy place. We spent the Christmas weekend with family and friends. The cottage is equipped with everything you need and was decorated for Christmas. We really enjoyed spending the evenings by the real fireplace. Also, our friends, who love fishing, were very happy to have the opportunity for winter fishing and we all tasted the fish that the guys caught. Our children were super happy to play with the snow outside and walk on the frozen lake. In general, we really liked it and will be happy to come back again.

We had out of town guests coming for our son's wedding. We needed space for the groom and his seven groomsmen. This space was beautiful, so well-laid out, 4 beds (one in an alcove area), 3 well-appointed bedrooms (the master was very very nice), a large bathroom with everything they needed, a well-equipped kitchen, a beautiful dining table and a very spacious living room area. This met, even exceeded our expectations. The backyard was private (backed onto a forest area) and provided a great backdrop for some outdoor pictures. The hosts made themselves available in case we needed something (we didn't, they had thought of everything). I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Carleton Place property, and it exceeded all our expectations.

Communication: The host was fantastic to communicate with—responsive and proactive. They provided us with detailed information ahead of time and answered any questions we had very quickly, making the entire experience smooth from start to finish.

The Stay and Filming Experience: My company participated in a 48-hour film competition, which meant we needed a location that worked both as accommodation and a film set. Finding spaces that can serve dual purposes is often a challenge, and we’re incredibly grateful to the host for allowing us to use the property for filming.

The Property: The house is spacious, with plenty of beds to comfortably fit our team, and the beds themselves were super comfortable. The whole place was spotless, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed—including a coffee machine, which was essential! The location strikes a perfect balance, feeling like a secluded cottage retreat while being close to amenities. We made quick runs to nearby stores, including Walmart, for last-minute supplies without any hassle.

Filming Potential: The property offers an ideal environment for filming, with a variety of settings. Outside, there’s a beautiful lakeside backdrop and a great fire pit, creating a peaceful, scenic atmosphere perfect for storytelling. Inside, the property has unique character—perfectly suited for both horror (if we played with the lighting) and lighter genres like comedy or romance (since it's so cozy) which is rare to find in a single location.

Overall, it is an exceptional property, both for a comfortable stay and as a versatile filming space. Highly recommended!
