This place is wanderfull!!! (I.e. A wonderful place to wander.)

Meadows, woods, deer, birds and a beaverdam. Clear, well maintained trails with few roots and only simple elevation gains. If you need to get out and like to wander the woods, come here! (But leaveno trace!)

Vault toilets and benches scattered through the area!

Not many natural green areas anymore and the land owner donated this land to be just that.
Great trails of different km hikes and scenery.
3 gazebos for picnics.
The area has outhouses and is managed by volunteers and donations as a non profit organization.
Even when busy you rarely see any one the area is so large.
In winter you have groomed cross country skiing trails, I personally like snow shoeing there.
Dogs allowed on leashes.
Wild life around, lot's of wild flowers and water lilies in the summer with a quior of music from the 🐸 frogs during mating season and more
I updated and added the new trail map they just put up, excellently done, now easier to fugure out what hike to take.
All hikes give a different variation of scenery and greenery growing.
Allot of love and time has been put into this beautiful green space with maintained trails.
To tell you the truth I really didn't want to post about this place so it doesn't get over run with people, so please don't come hear if you don't have respect for nature and the people who come here to enjoy it.

All hikes are easy some are just longer, there are trail markers and posted maps all along the trails should you get disorientated. You can bring a stroller for most trails.
Dogs are allowed on a leash, please pick up after your pooch because no one wants the place to smell like a sewer causing mass amounts of flies, possibility of stepping in it and disease, if your the type who doesn't like to pick up after your dog please leave them at home, there are no poo bags here.
The volunteers work hard to allow a place like this to exist, let's show them we appreciate all that they do by leaving the place as beautiful as when we walked in, we can also show our appreciation by giving a donation, all information for that is at the beginning of the trail or look at the one picture that shows there website for more information.
Thank you all from one nature lover to another💕

What a beautiful place! Aspen forest with stands of white spruce, grassy meadows covered in wildflowers, and wetlands are crisscrossed by well marked trails and boardwalks. The area is located on ancient sand dunes formed by winds following the retreat of the glaciers. While we weren’t lucky enough to see them, we heard numerous songbirds and a chorus of frogs. If you go, wear clothing that covers you, as the mosquitoes are voracious.

This is a dog friendly park but no trash cans so be prepared to bring out any poo that happens. I love these beautiful trails, lots of out houses avaliable and a few gazebos to rest in. Even at its busiest you usually get lots of space to yourself and only see a few people. Also there's enough trails to duck down another if you really want to avoid other humans. 10 out of 5 stars. I will return
