Quel bel endroit! Situé sur le bord de la rivière, très propre, très bien équipé (cuisinette, bbq, chaises extérieures, etc.) récemment rénové avec goût, personnel hyper gentil et accommodant. Il y a aussi un abri pour stationner les motos/autos. Il est certain que si nous retournons à Grand Forks, ce sera chez Johnny’s Motel et pour quelques jours!

Johnny's Motel is perfect for a little privacy after a long days trip, or to stay the weekend. I made this my halfway point in my trip. Updated rooms, clean sheets and towels. The green strip behind the rooms is awesome to hang out and do everything. Beside the river was cool too. Already returned and the second room was just as good. Best in Grand Forks BC!

Grand Forks is a small town that if you blink as you go through, you might miss it.

There is a cute little place called Johnny's Motel at the end of town.

I was going to be driving through Grand Forks and Johnny's Motel was a perfect place to stop for the night.

The previous reviews of "make-over" of this motel are absolutely accurate.

Johnny's Motel is located right on the river and is so peaceful.

The front of the units look somewhat dated, but COMPLETELY different opposite inside.

I opened the room door and was so happy!! A VERY clean and modernized room to relax in after a long day of travel!!

The bathroom was spacious, super comfortable bed and a Bistro type table in the room.

Sliding glass doors to your private patio. There are a few picnic tables between the rooms and river. And unexpected 4-legged visitors...

There is an area for smokers that is away from the main area but not in a concrete parking lot.

The staff are polite and helpful from making the reservation to checking-out.

I will definitely be staying there on my next trip through.

I've stayed here before and it was decent.
Unfortunately the rooms are not sealed well, and someone smoking outside late at night came straight into my room and stunk the whole place up. Hard to sleep after that.

Tried to book there again. They don't answer their phone, so I was forced to book two rooms for two nights elsewhere.

Excellent got us in a room early when we showed up. Really nice room all renovated and I’m fussy. Comfortable bed… great staff will be back 100 percent. Front desk even offered and held me a room for day when I wasn’t even sure if I was coming back!! Thanks for awesome stay. Melanie

Wasn’t sure about this little hotel, but I would say to give it a chance—cute little cabin-like rooms which have been recently updated—it seems to be very clean and the beds are comfy… I was definitely pleasantly surprised! There was also a little patio out the back door by the river…very sweet little place.

Booked through a 3rd party and it was not communicated to motel but they accommodated and gave us an upgraded room at the same rate. Disappointing that the pool was closed this year due to repairs and it was not posted on their site or upon check in. There was a small sign on the doorway. Stayed 3 nights but did not have anyone come in to replenish towels/coffee etc.

I wouldn't recommend this place.
Rooms were nice enough for the price. I was overcharged for my stay. I tried to call them to get it sorted out and after around 7 left voicemails, I gave up. I know I have the right number because I talked to them through that number a couple times during the stay. I believe they're choosing not to call me back because they don't want to correct the charge. Very unfortunate.
