Since moving to Peachland over 20 years ago, we have been dealing with "then Peachland Insurance". They have always been so efficient, knowledgable and great to deal with.
Recently we had a very complicated and unusual VIN number/ ICBC insurance situation. This occurred on a Friday afternoon at 4 pm, and by Monday afternoon the entire transaction was sorted with a positive outcome. The amount of time and effort, especially by Claire and Cindy were WAY BEYOND anything you would expect from an insurance agency. A heartfelt big THANK YOU to everyone. We sure appreciate you all here in Peachland.

We have worked with the ladies of Peachland Johnston Meier for decades. They are knowledgeable, professional and they work to understand your business and needs and place you with the right companies. Insurance is one of those paradoxical purchases, we purchase it hoping we never have to use it. After the wildfire last summer we had to make a claim, right from the first phone call to Carolyn at the insurance office to the working with Northbridge Insurance throughout the claim we were well taken care of and so grateful that we work with the professionals we do. They are an important part of our business team.

I recently moved to the area and started using them in January 2022. I had been in twice both times mistakes were made but they fixed it, I resigned paperwork and that's fine mistakes happen. The second time I was in the lady was complaining about how much work the online insurance process is and suggested I call instead of going online because it's easier for them. Fair enough. So when I needed to renew one of our vehicles and I called, told the lady I was told to call she starts grilling me on why i could come into the office and goes "Why? Are you sick or something?" "You cant even come in on Saturday?" I was so put off. She was terribly rude. She said everyone is super busy and its better if i just come in, it takes 20+ minutes on the phone and 3 emails it's easier if you just come in.(note I have never spent less than 20 minutes in the office doing either a simple address change or renewal) I said I would call someone else if they were too busy. She took my info anyways and said someone would call me. In the meantime I started doing the online process because why would I work with a company that's so rude?! I ended up doing it over the phone because they called back before I had completed the online process. I mentioned the prior interaction with the rude lady and she didn't seem to care. Even mentioned at one point she was walking to the counter with her wireless headphones because it was so dead in the office. Honestly not sure I'll be going back in a couple months when I need to update our other vehicle.

Doubled quote at closing and didn't actually get us fire insurance. Allan (Al) at the Peachland branch emailed me a great quote for house insurance around 2 months before closing but told me to talk to him within 30 days of closing to make sure everything was good. So I called him then and he told me that everything was great. Then 25 days later he called as we were walking into the lawyers office to sign papers to say "Oops the quote has doubled". Needless to say a year later when it came time to renew we went elsewhere and discovered that he had also lied on the paperwork so best case scenario we would have had to pay thousands of dollars if our house burnt down but the insurance company could have refused to give us any money even though Allan was the one who didn't do his job and fill out the paperwork correctly.

Peachland Johnson Meyer, I have been dealing with them since 2015. One of the best insurance places I have ever used. They take customer service to a new level, they usually call me around renewal time for my home insurance and they always seem to be looking at which company has the best coverage do I need more coverage or reassessment. Very client oriented organization. They're great community supporters as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for insurance for their home. Or for that matter any type of insurance auto recreational or home. They do it all. Great job team Johnson Meyer Peachland!!!!!
