Kids Kingdom Daycare - Kanata, Ontario

We’re a fam of 4 and have been to Kids Kingdom 20+ times in the last 3 years. It’s good, but it has potential to be great. We’ll continue to come as it’s a decent option for burning kid energy on rainy days and in the winter.

The pros:
- Warm and friendly staff supervise the facilities well
- Fresh, made-to-order food from the cafeteria with relatively healthy options
- Fun, medieval themed tunnels & slides
- Great for big kids and toddlers
- Tunnels are tall enough for adults to maneuver
- Easy-going atmosphere with lots of comfortable seating for adults (+ free wifi!)

The could-be-improved:
- Several areas are poorly lit/dark.
- About a third of the games are out of order and the remaining ‘working’ ones are empty or malfunction (either eat tokens or don’t spit tickets out)
- Some background music would be nice!
- The stamps they use to match you with your kid are tiny and smear easily. Bigger stamps would be appreciated for security!

I have an eight-year-old and a three-year-old who had a fantastic time both age groups were satisfied. The pizza deal is the way to go if you’re visiting before lunch.
Love the safety for the kids. Pretty strict rules on in and out. 🙂👍👍

We hosted a birthday party (kids between kindergarten and grade 3) and it was excellent, everyone had a blast - the kids were running / climbing /sliding the whole time on the play structure and the large inglatable. For us it was a great price and super convenient. We ordered cheese pizza, juice boxes and vanilla cake from there (everything brought to the room in a cart 1 hour after the party started). We brought a veggies tray, a fruits tray and water bottles. The cake ordered from Kids Kingdom was a rectangle which served around 15 people (kids + adults) with a lot of leftover. It was a plain vanilla cake with frosting (no filling), simple but very good. To be honest, I had ordered nicer/pricier cakes before and the children seemed to enjoy this simpler cake better. We asked for blue/green icing, and they wrote Happy Birthday ! , added some colored sprinkles and I brought the candle (they provided the cake knife). When we got there, the room was clean and all set with paper plates, cups, napkins and forks, chairs and tables. A lot of parents said how they enjoyed the party and were interested in hosting theirs there.

We love going here. Great place to get energy out. There are different structures for varying ages and abilities. There are midway games that you have to pay extra for but I never do. They have different deals during the weekday. There are very few people there during the weekday. I find it reasonably priced for kids 3 and under on the weekdays before 4 pm.

Kids Kingdom daycare is really a great and safe place for the children! The educators are nice, kind, so patient and always friendly. They carefully take care of the children and pay attention to every tiny detail. The managers are very responsible and always available.

The classrooms are clean and cheerful. Children have lots of fun there! They play, learn, try new things, and eat healthy every day.

Its Indoor Playground is an amazing option for times weather is too cold or hot.

I’m writing to share my frustrating experience with Kids Kingdom. I reached out over three times via email and left multiple voicemails trying to arrange my daughter’s 5th birthday party, but I never heard back. It’s incredibly disappointing to feel ignored, especially when you’re trying to plan a special day for your child.

The lack of communication is unacceptable, and it makes me question their customer service overall. I expected better from a place that’s supposed to be family-friendly. We ended up having to look for another venue at the last minute, which was stressful and disheartening.

I hope they can improve their responsiveness, as I was really looking forward to celebrating my daughter’s birthday there. Unfortunately, I won’t be recommending Kids Kingdom based on this experience.

If you do not want your child to be sick, do not choose this playground.I am calling out to the person who opened this business, is it healthy for his/her own child or grandchild to play in this area?
*stepping on the floor with shoes off as soon as you enter,
*only one inflatable playground and the castle made of wood is terrifying
*the floors were completely covered with food scraps,
*the 0-3 year old playground was dusty and most of the toys were old and broken.
I do not count the young people working in the cafe section, shouting loudly, chasing each other in the hall, and videotaping the others. Let me tell you when a clean, decent place opens in the city of ottawa. when you don't like places like this.

We had a great time there at my daughter’s birthday. Rooms are big and facility is very clean. They also provided high chairs for our babys. The pricing is also good compared to other places .
Things I didn’t like there: the party host wasn’t helpful in my opinion , you better save your 50 bucks. Also the fact that you have to buy everything there make it more expensive.
Anyways as long as kids a had fun we had a great time.
