Our stay at Kilmarnock Glen was better than we could have ever expected. From the moment you drive up, Margaret and Ken are extremely welcoming and make you feel right at home -- like you are at a resort with your closest family members. Their home is beautiful and set within peaceful wilderness that is close to town and Lake Cowichan. Down to every little detail, Margaret and Ken have made it easy to stay comfortably and locate whatever you may need.

Margaret also makes some of the most amazing food we have ever eaten and her baking skills rival Martha Stewart. We may have gained 5 lbs eating the amazing deserts! Margaret also went out of her way to ensure that any dietary restrictions were taken into account and our kids were comfortable (including access to a pack n' play, a toddler bed, toys, etc.). Ken also loved showing off their ducks and chickens to the kids.

We travel to B&Bs often and have never had one so kid friendly. We will ABSOLUTELY be back!

It’s impossible to place a value on the experience we had staying with Margaret and Ken. They went above and beyond in everything to make our stay as memorable as possible. It really did feel like we were home and looked after like family.

This is once in a lifetime experience for not only enjoying the surroundings and beautiful home, but the amazing breakfasts, sightseeing recommendations and going above and beyond, whilst delicately balancing that with our privacy.

Margaret and Ken are world class hosts and special people who we’ve been delighted to get to know.

We’re looking for reasons to go back even though we live thousands of miles away!

Thank you so much Margaret and Ken, we’ll miss you both and Molly so much and have no doubt this will be an immense success for years to come. x
