Location is perfect. Right in the heart of the community. 5 min drive everything - you can even walk to their main street.
Hotel was clean and updated.
Keep in mind no breakfast options however the room has a microwave and mini fridge.
Only issue was the heating, we have a double room, unfortunately the heater was located in one of the rooms not both and wasn't able to fully heat the second room.

My stay was great the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, staff was helpful and very nice. I will definitely stay there again. I was up for the Gun show in a neighbouring town and had inquired about a nights stay at another hotel in another town and it was twice the rate was told about kings hotel and glad I decided to stay there.

We were in town for a 5 day sporting event in January. The hotel was super accommodating in allowing us to use the kitchen and dining facilities. The staff were so helpful and flexible.

Will likely be back if in the area.
On Friday evening my wife enjoyed a queen room. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was great. Price was reasonable and, hard to believe, but as far as I can tell they don’t bump up their prices on the weekend. Variety of items at breakfast Saturday morning was good. Web site room pictures may be outdated as they show the sink outside the bathroom but ours was a full bathroom. Bed was VERY comfy. Pillows just right. HVAC unit was a little loud but was a soothing sound which did not disturb us and may have helped us sleep. Liked that there were two padded chairs as well as night tables on both sides of the bed. Small conveniences that you usually don’t get even at big chain hotels. We had an evening meal at the local Wing House restaurant which is another gem in Palmerston.

microwave kept tripping on the breaker- had to move it to the bathroom in order to use it. TV would not work- said antenna connection was low. . .it was basically a hot shower and a bed. nothing fancy

We stayed here this past weekend with our toddler son and it was more than expected. They accommodated with our requests and the service was quick and kind. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was perfect and the dining room was clean with quick actions of filling up coffee and pastries. Only thing I wish they had was sliding doors in the rooms as all rooms are ground floor and it would of been fun to take my toddler outside to explore instead of a parking lot. But all In all amazing staff and place to stay. We will be coming back to stay again forsure.

Our first stay, we stumbled Kings Hotel by luck when we ended up having to stay local while purchasing a vehicle. The desk clerk was very polite, allowed us to view the rooms prior to committing. Once we made our way to our room, it was impeccably clean and smelled clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower head & water pressure were perfect. Peaceful sleep, very quiet. We came back 3 weeks later to pick up our vehicle and stayed again with Kings. We’re from Ottawa but will be back and forth working with the car dealer - and will absolutely stay at Kings again. Great hospitality.
