I was horribly sick when I got there. the place is absolutely beautiful, but the service is not very good. I had to go to the front desk myself for coffee anytime I needed it, even as sick as I was. I would call down and would have to wait for hours before getting coffee. I would just end up walking down and getting it myself. I would ask housekeeping for coffee and wait for hours then would go down and get it myself. Room service once insisted on checking out my phone when I told them that I did not need towels that I was very sick that I just needed some peace and quiet. I told her there was nothing wrong with the phone in my room, I was sick and I needed to be left alone. Room service kept trying to insist on checking my phone when, I told them how sick I was with the flu. I finally told her I was too sick and I closed my door. There is no need for room service to have to check your phone when you tell them you are sick with the flu, and need to be left alone. It wasn’t until days after I got there that I was able to take pictures of the beautiful atrium in the centre of the hotel I also cleaned the room thoroughly before leaving and things that I cleaned were things that I should not have had to clean and I took pictures for management, but they were not interested in my cleaning pictures at all

We recently came here to cold lake mid March and was able to book our room for the month here. Overall, our experience here was amazing, we were in a cozy little room, access to washer and dryer and a nice little tv. It was all that we could ask for, as for Lyle, he was incredibly welcoming, any issues was solved instantly. Lyle is amazing 5/5, if we ever return back to Cold Lake, this is where we will be checking in again 🙂

The room was clean. The new manager is absolutely fantastic. Rectified an issue with my booking that was done by previous employees. My child and I absolutely loved it here. Our room made us feel like home away from home. Cosy, clean, quiet, and the cost was fantastic. Thank you for making our stay here so comfortable and happy. I would stay here again.

I came to this motel with a friend. She usually books another motel for the aqua days in cold lake however it was full. She can across this one and even though it had a low review score decided to rent it.
The outside of the motel, didn’t give us great feelings but we didn’t care as we were literally only sleeping there. We met Lyle. He informed us that the motel was under new management and previous people double booked the room we booked. He was amazing at making sure we were taken care of, the room was stunning (like a cozy apartment) he even provided us with an additional cot so we had the sleeping room we initially booked.

I had an issue with my son and needed cornstarch (it was late) I asked him and he said the hotel doesn’t have things like powders and such, which I figured. I was going to head out looking for an open store to buy it at and he showed up at my room with some !
I feel that this may have been the best experience I’ve had in a motel! And will ALWAYS TRY to book here first before anywhere else upon visiting cold lake.

Also forgot to mention the price was so decent ! (Cheaper than my monthly rent in Edmonton)

You know… I booked this place to be a cheap spot to sleep for a few hours and I got what I paid for. Before I get further, the staff (who I think were the owners) were really nice. The tiny size of my room didn’t bother me at all. It was the issue with cleanliness and maintenance. With a little TLC they could really make this an attractive property. I wish I had checked the sheets when I did my initial checkin because they were disgusting, as can be seen from the one photo. Unfortunately, by the time I was done fishing and came back to sleep, the office was already closed. There was damage to the wall and the sink, which was not aesthetically pleasing and the mount for the air conditioner looked terrible. A quick layer of paint could have made a world of a difference for the A/C mount. As can be seen on the space heater picture, there was some weird gunk caked on it, and I don’t want to know what it was. You get the vibes from this hotel that they are doing the bare minimum to keep it running. I’d highly recommend that they undertake some quick renovations, which could result in this place actually being a desirable property. That being said, it was one of those locations that made me have to shower and throw all my clothes immediately in the washing machine to try to get rid of the “ick” feeling. Truthfully, if I am ever looking for an insanely cheap place to stay in Cold Lake again, I may just stay here, though I may bring a blanket to lay on top of the bed and a towel for my shower and immediately wash them when I get home.

I had a good sleep in here. The double room is large, amazing free Netflix account!!!!!
I got a super large TV to watch. Super nice. The rate is affordable and over than you paid.

You can have a very good sleeping. And the crew is so nice to welcome me. Very quickly to answer my questions and flexible.

Definitely will come back.
