We were in Kingston for a girl's weekend and were looking for something fun to do on a winter day. I discovered the Kingston Food Tours and we had a blast! On Saturday afternoon we did the Tapas tour with Jessica. The restaurants were unique and completely local, the food and drink were excellent and it was only made better by our guide Jessica. She was kind as well as incredibly knowledgeable about the food, the food origins and local history. Highly recommend - 5 stars.

We did the Tapas tour with Jess as our guide yesterday… What an amazing experience!!! The food was delicious, the stories/history is so incredibly interesting and Jess was the best guide!! We (my Google account uses my pseudonym, but in case Jess is reading this: it's B&B) just finished our tour with Jessica, and it was amazing! All of the food destinations were spectacular, and Jess had such passion and deep knowledge of everything. My partner and I didn't give much thought to the food and culture scene in Kingston before, but after Jess' tour we are definitely going to come back in nicer weather and enjoy more of what the city has to offer.

If you have never been to Kingston before, and/or would like an amazing tour of some of the local restaurants, we highly recommend you take this tour!

Amazing!!! Booked for my husband and I and ended up only being the two of us. We got a personal tour with Jess and she was fabulous! All of the town and restaurant history, food & drink facts and conversations were as good as the food and drinks! We went to 7 different places that are all locally owned and had excellent food in each!! Highly recommend. Come with an empty stomach and you won’t need to eat for a while afterwards. Lol. Thank you Jess 😊

We did the tapas tour yesterday. We had already been too a few of the restaurants but let me tell you we had an amazing time. The food and drinks were amazing. We got too try some foods I would not order but really enjoyed the surprises. We had a small group of 6 which was good. Our tour guide was amazing and you could tell she really enjoyed her job.
We had so much fun we are going too do the food tour soon.
I would highly recommend it too anyone even if you have lived in Kingston for awhile.

Wife and I took a Kingston Food Tour and it was an excellent experience overall!

We lived in Kingston for 5 years so we had already eaten at all the restaurants, but we had a tour guide that was very knowledgeable and personable and made our tour incredible.

I don't want to spoil the surprise for the tour of where we went, but I will say that each spot is a local Kingston restaurant right in the heart of the downtown area. We had delicious food at each spot, and the drinks were paired very well with each dish at each spot. And cutting the line at the final stop was nice on a hot late Spring day.

Definitely recommend for anyone coming to Kingston who wants to try different local spots to eat and get treats, and also recommend this to any local resident that wants to get some extra behind-the-scenes information about some very popular Kingston restaurants!

Great tour and great time! Our tour guide was personable, knowledgeable and absolutely the right person for the job. We were given a sheet of discounts (10-20% off) for the places we visited and we made use of about 1/2 of them the same day as our tour! There were 8 different stops, some that had "real" food (fish taco, slice of pizza) some that were just a sample (e.g. two gnocchi). My favourite was the Chômeur cake at Pan Chancho. There was an exceptional margarita at the first stop and some beer about 1/3 of the way through. The whole time, I was anticipating that we'd be able to try some wine, so if I could change anything about the tour, that would be it. The price was a bit steep ($90 including taxes and service charges) but I felt like I got my money's worth. There's not too much walking (though the last 3 stops were standing stops, so I was tired from standing by the end). I wholeheartedly recommend this tour and will definitely do the "Bits and Bites" tour the next time I'm in Kingston.
