Placé à l écart de la HW Victoria/Nanaimo|Ce lodge tout en bois est bien tenu sur une propriété plantée de kiwi. Vue sur la baie...mais pas directe...cadre très reposant...chambre spacieuse avec balcon propre et accueil charmant des hôtes. Pdj excellent avec kiwi jam et tomate bio du jardin...pour dîner un excellent pub (anglais) à Yellow Point vous permet de passer un très bon moment dans un jardin magnifique ou indoor.

A great B&B for couples or larger groups. There were 12 of us on a return trip and we rented the cabin for additional social space in addition to our rooms. Beautiful grounds, incredible gardens and quiet location. Staff are exceptional looking after any requests we had.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and we had an amazing stay. The staff were fantastic and so friendly. The first night we arrived there was one girl who stayed just for our arrival to check us in, our ferry was a bit late so we felt a little bad making her stay late but she was so nice and even answered a bunch of questions we had.||The rooms were very clean and so spacious. WIFI was fantastic and they have Netflix on the TV. We stayed in the Chocolate room and were very pleased. The location is just off the highway but very quite, we never heard any road noise. One word of warning, you can drink the tap water its perfectly safe, it does have a bit of a sulphur smell, I am not a big fan of that so we just bought some water and put it into our rooms fridge. On the property there is an actual Kiwi farm and we were encouraged to go into the trees and have a look, harvest is in September and I think that would be a great time to book a visit. They also have walking paths around the property, my wife and I really enjoyed going for a short walk and seeing the ocean and all the flowers and berries along the path. I am someone who struggles with relaxing and I have to say I felt completely relaxed after our stay at Kiwi Cove, its so peaceful and calming. There were other guests but we rarely heard them. The breakfast every morning was great, egss, bacon, sausage, fruit, toast, waffles, simple but good food and I really appreciated the savings in not having to spend extra for breakfast.||We will definitely be coming back again, my wife and I had a fantastic time.

Nice Lodge, good value for money. Stayed here as 2 couples in separate rooms on the Ground Floor. Countryside location, with property grounds running down to the water's edge and away from the local roads, though the main highway is maybe 500 metres away across the water, so there is some background noise, but not worrisome.|Large rooms, most but not all with fridges. Good cooked breakfast. |Place not at all busy when we stayed, one night we were the only party.|Nice grounds to sit out in, but not really suitable weather when we visited. |We travelled over from the mainland on the ferry to Swartz Bay ( Victoria), the drive to the hotel was then probably about 90-100 minutes, (it would have been quicker to have got a ferry to Nanaimo). This meant we arrived quite late, but a staff member had waited for us. There are no staff based in the lodge itself, they live nearby.|It should be obvious from the location, but the Lodge is not actually in Ladysmith, and you will need to drive in order to find anywhere to eat or any shops etc.|At a cost of just over C$ 210 per night bed and breakfast this was good value and we would certainly stay again.|It is a fairly central location on the island for visiting each coast and Vancouver.

Our wedding party and a few out of own guests stayed at the Kiwi Cove Lodge the night prior and night of our wedding. Laurie, the manager, was great to deal with – she gave us a great price and was very flexible on check in and out times for all of our guests. The lodge itself is quiet, clean, and has comfy beds – while the furniture is dated, it’s very cute and completely goes with the low-maintenance vibes of the property. This lodge has beautiful views that we used as part of our wedding photos.

This is what "getting away from it all" should be. Amazing property and great amount of space to enjoy walks to the water, wandering in the orchard or birding on the grounds. Very nice staff and clean accommodations. However the highlight was the ability to walk out and pick a fresh kiwi fruit and sample the produce. Best we've ever had.

Un Lodge con un fantastico rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale gentile e disponibile, colazione fantastica e posto stupendo e rilassante. Per andare in giro nella parte sud dell'isola è perfetto. Se siete fortunati potete anche vedere i colibrì che si fermano vicino alle mangiatoie rosse che stanno in alto ai lati della terrazza dove si fa colazione.

The room was spacious, private, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfasts that were included were delicious. You’ve got to try their kiwi jam!! The grounds are well kept and the walk to the ocean was enjoyable. I even spotted wild rabbits on our walk. I’ll stay here again!
